That surprised me too. From the time Jesus was born satan tried to kill him by killing all baby boys & during His ministry they tried to kill Him Jesus says that in John. I don’t understand how they don’t see Him in the OT. He’s all over the OT. His 2nd coming is in the OT. And His first coming is described and happened EXACTLY as it did. They’re listening to rabbis instead of God. The woman with the English accident is ripe to hear the gospel. She needs someone who’s life has changed after they have their life to Jesus and hear how their eyes opened up and their heart changed. She thinks all Christians grew up in a religious home but that’s not true. I didn’t and He pursued me and kept speaking to my heart. I heard Him every time and I surrendered to Him. It was the most life changing thing that’s ever happened to me. A person can’t understand the scriptures unless they have the Holy Spirit in them. You can read and learn but you can’t understand. Their understanding of the OT is different also. And they don’t get it that Jesus never quoted the NT nor did He call Himself a Christian, neither did His disciples. Christian means follower of Christ. My heart was breaking listening to them. I wish Christians would share their salvation experience with them instead of preaching at them. Then if they’re curious preach the gospel. Show them how the NT completes the OT. It’s also scary hearing them say anyone could be the Messiah. That’s how they’re going to be deceived.

And [recall] when you said, "O Moses, we can never endure one [kind of] food. So call upon your Lord to bring forth for us from the earth its green herbs and its cucumbers and its garlic and its lentils and its onions." [Moses] said, "Would you exchange what is better for what is less? Go into [any] settlement and indeed, you will have what you have asked." And they were covered with humiliation and poverty and returned with anger from Allah [upon them]. That was because they [repeatedly] disbelieved in the signs of Allah and killed the prophets without right. That was because they disobeyed and were [habitually] transgressing.

according to early Christian apologist justin martyr considered a saint in the Catholic Church admitted that Christianity had borrowed it's concept of divine sonship from pagans
[The First Apology, Chapter 21] "When we say that the Word, Jesus Christ the first born of God, was produced without sexual union, and that he was crucified and died and rose again, and ascended to heaven, we propound [nothing new or different] from what you [pagans] believe regarding those whom you consider sons of Jupiter."
gregory of nyssa is 4th century bishop who is venerated as a saint in the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Churches he wrote:"For the truth passes in the mean between these two Conceptions, destroying each heresy, and yet, accepting what is useful to it from each, the Jewish dogma is destroyed by the acceptance of the Word and by Belief in the spirit, while the polytheistic error of the Greek school is made to vanish by the unity of the nature abrogating this imagination of plurality." [Oration Catechetica, 3] here gregory of nyssa acknowledge that the Christian conception of God is neither purely the polytheism of the Greeks nor purely the monotheism of the Jews but rather a mixture of both.
the Quran declares that this Christians who deify Jesus are imitating pagans of old
[The Repentance 9:30] "The Christians said, The Messiah Jesus is the son of God': they said this with their own mouths, [repeating what earlier disbelievers had said]."
here the Quran demonstrates remarkable insight by pointing out the Christians belief about Jesus originate from past pagan religions the message of Islam like Christianity was also delivered to a pagan audience but unlike Christianity Islam monotheism was untainted and remains pure to this day even rabbis jew acknowledge this fact because they permit Jewish people to pray in Muslim places of worship in the situation where no synagogue is available.
Rabbi Maimonides a leading authority in Jewish law wrote the following with regards to the Islamic concept of God: "These [Ishmaelites the Muslim] are not idol worshippers in the least, and [Paganism] has long since cut off from their mouths and their hearts, and they worship the [Singular God] properly and without and blemish."
by comparison Jewish people are forbidden from even setting foot inside churches, Rabbi Maimonides had this to say about Christianity: "Know that this Christian nation, with all their many different sects, are all [Idol worshipers] and all their [holidays are forbidden.] and we deal with them regarding religious issues as we would pagans"
[The Women 4:171] "O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit[The Angel Gabriel] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not "Three[Trinity]" - Cease! (it is) better for you! - Allah is only One God. Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that He should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender.

“In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
    and the Word was God.
He was with God in the beginning.
All things came to be through him,
and without him nothing made had being.
In him was life, and the life was the light of mankind.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not suppressed it.
This was the true light, which gives light to everyone entering the world.
He was in the world - the world came to be through him - yet the world did not know him.
He came to his own homeland, yet his own people did not receive him.
But to as many as did receive him, to those who put their trust in his person and power,
he gave the right to become children of God,
not because of bloodline, physical impulse or human intention,
    but because of God.
The Word became a human being and lived with us,

@@ExGamer-sc9uw even if i quote verses from the bible you will not believe because you already had quoted sura from quran, but quran were talking about different Jesus than the bible. Jesus Christ in the bible were hanged on a cross, died but rose again from the dead after three days. If that is not in the quran, then it is a different Jesus no matter how "close" the description were. Do not associate the Lord Jesus Christ of the bible from Jesus Christ of quran. They are not the same person. It is misleading. And even if you tell me that the bible were "translated" over different languages therefore it was corrupted, then was the quran written before or after the New Testament? After Peter or Paul or John (which were all dead btw that is why it is called last will and "testament") If it were written hundreds of years ago after the New Testaments, then ask yourself, would it not also be just a translated version of the bible but the difference were translated by Muhammed? To have Jesus Christ of the bible mentioned also in quran in the first place? And if you would also study Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormon's books which interestingly enough, they also talks about Jesus Christ. Almost close but not the same Jesus Christ of the Bible. How come?

The Last Neanderthal He’s false. Jesus Christ is NOT only the son of God , he is God . When he say "I go to the father", he's switching offices as the father and that's when the Holy Ghost and promise is brought forth, when he say " and I" he's switching offices as a son . We do it in our daily lives , If you with your mom you're in the office as a son , if your girlfriend is with you you're in the office of a boyfriend , but Jesus is God and can do it all in one. In Genesis 18:14 it states ..
[14] Is any thing too hard for the Lord ? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
In john 1:1 it states "In the beginning was the WORD, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:1‬4 It states "And the WORD was made flesh(Jesus Christ), and dwelt among us
Before God the father manifested into flesh , he was a spirit so he could not die but he loved his creation so much he manifested into flesh to die for our sins with his pure innocent blood, rose up 3 days and 3 nights and returned back to heaven as our high priest
‭‭In 1 John‬ ‭4:2-3 it states “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: (3) And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh(son of God or anything other then divined into flesh) is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Rina Ro Jesus Christ is NOT only the son of God , he is God .
I think the answer is simpler than people realize. Jews don’t believe Jesus is the Messiah because Jesus’ teachings changed the Torah. Jews will not believe in a Messiah who changes the Torah any more than Christians will believe in a prophet who says Jesus is not the son of God. The issue is fundamental. It goes to the very core of what Judaism is about.

The word ISRAEL in Hebrew probably (surely) means SERVANT OF GOD.
It was a HONORIFIC title, I believe, of PROPHET YAKOOB (PROPHET JACOB)
I modern parlance it can be said as GOD'S OBEDIENT.
Surely should make sense as any prophet would be GOD'S obedient and would come to LOVE GOD and SERVE HIM.
In historical perspective, his family, his sons and daughters, and those who obeyed God in recognizing him as a prophet of God were called ISRAELI'S.
Should be differentiated with the current state of NAZILAND, the so called state of ISRAEL, who have killed and continue to kill INNOCENT PALESTINIANS in the name of GOD.
The Arabic word word MUSLIM can also be summed up as meaning to SERVE and OBEY GOD.

easy. when he spoke to the samaritan women he referred to himself as a Jew.
(john 4:5-9) "5 So He came to a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour.7 A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.” 8 For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.9 Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.
(john 4:19-20) 19 The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.
so she recognized him as a jew. now for the part where he referenced himself as a jew.

Isaiah 53? How can anyone read that and not know the mission of Jesus? Jesus did not abrogate the Torah. Yahweh started with a people who were living like the rest of the world and set them apart and slowly brought them along a path of righteousness. Jesus said he did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. He took it from just being if I do these behaviors then I'm okay to what you think, what you feel matters just as much as behavior. Jesus took the laws from a physical act to the inside and purity of the whole person. Christians still obey the Ten Commandments. Why do you think they are (were) everywhere in America? So the rabbi in this video does not get it.
If we could be perfect in attitude, thoughts, feelings and behavior we would not need Jesus.

      *****
Well, if we are going to look at Isaiah 53, wouldn't it make sense to look at the whole chapter, instead of picking certain verses?
"For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: *he* *hath* *neither* *form* *nor* *comeliness*; and when we shall see him, there is *no* *beauty* that we should desire him."
      [Isaiah:53:2]
Since when did Jesus [PBUH] have "no form [or] comeliness"?
He had the form of a human, did he not? Besides, one would say that by the illustrations we have of him today, that he was comeliness, or are you willing to say these portraits are not accurate ;)
"He was despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not."
      [Isaiah:53:3]
Since when was Jesus "despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows..."?
Jesus is one of the most beloved men in history, alongside Moses and Muhammad [PBUT]...
Also when did people hide their faces from him?
Even during his life, he was beloved by many people…
So was Jesus really despised by everyone?
"And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: *and* *there* *went* *out* *a* *fame* *of* *him* *through* *the* *entire* *region* *round* *about*. And he taught in their synagogues, *being* *glorified* *of* *all*."
      [Luke 4:14 - Luke:4:15]
      Furthermore,
"Then came to him [his] mother and his brethren, *and* *could* *not* *come* *at* *him* *for* *the* *press*."
      [Luke:8:19]
      Besides,
And Jesus said, who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, *the* *multitude* *throng* *thee* *and* *press* [*thee*], and sayest thou, who touched me?
      [Luke:8:45]
The servant is characterized as one who is despised. Jesus is *not* one who fits that bill. However, when you take a look at the history of Jews, you'll find that the Jewish people fit into that description seamlessly…
Moving on let’s look at the no violence part of Isaiah:53…
"And he made *his* *grave* *with* *the* *wicked* *and* *with* *the* *rich* *in* *his* *death*; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth."
      [Isaiah:53:9]
Since when was Jesus [PBUH] buried with the "wicked".
According to The Bible, he was buried in an empty tomb...
      [Luke:24:1 - Luke:24:8, Mark:15:40 - Mark:15:47, Mark:16:1 - Mark:16:8, John:19:38 - John:19:42, and John:20:1 - John:20:29]
You may claim to me where Israel was cut off from the land of the living…
      Let’s see shall we?
Your question is referring to Isaiah:53:8 where it states:
“By oppression and judgement he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? *For* *he* *was* *cut* *off* *from* *the* *land* *of* *the* *living*; for the transgression of my people he was stricken.”
      [Isaiah:53:8]
Has Israel ever been cut off?
Well according to Ezekiel:37:11 - Ezekiel:37:14, yes they have:
“Then he said to me: “Son of man, *these* *bones* *are* *the* *whole* *house* *of* *Israel*. They say, ‘Our *bones* are dried up and our hope is gone: *we* *are* *cut* *off*.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them: This is what the Sovereign Lord says: O my people, *I* *am* *going* *to* *open* *your* *graves* and bring you up them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, my people, will know I am you're the Lord, *when* *I* *open* *your* *graves* and bring you up from them. I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.”
      [Ezekiel:37:11 - Ezekiel:37:14]
The Verses 12 to 14 speak metaphorically about the graves of Israel and how God will bring them back up their graves and into their homeland… This is significant to Isaiah:53:9 which many Christians say cannot describe Israel…
“He was assigned a grave with the wicked…”
      [Isaiah:53:9]
So we find that Israel was cut off and they were assigned a grave in a metaphorical sense; they are both fully supported by scripture.
About Isaiah:53 there are Verses which provide proof that Israel is the "Suffering Servant" in Isaiah:53, and they are:
      Isaiah:41:8, Isaiah:44:1, Isaiah:44:21, Isaiah:45:4 and Isaiah:49:3.
The above all reference God's servant being Israel...
Therefore in Isaiah:53, Israel is the subject, but the speaker is the Gentile kings, as explained in Isaiah:52:15, and carried over into Isaiah:53:1..
In addition when you claim this person had done no violence let’s look into it shall we:
You state that "...because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth."
      [Isaiah:53:9]
That it has to be Jesus, but, these passages refer to Israel's suffering from the hands of Gentile nations as Isaiah:52:4 - Isaiah:52:5 informs us that Israel had been oppressed and taken away by foreign lands:
"...My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there, and the *Assyrian* *oppressed* *them* *for* *nothing*. Now therefore what have I here,” declares the Lord, “seeing that *my* *people* *are* *taken* *away* *for* *nothing*?"
Isaiah:52:10 and Isaiah:52:15 tell us about how one day Israel would be redeemed in the sight of all the nations...
"The Lord has bared his holy arm *before* *the* *eyes* *of* *all* *the* *nations*, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God."
      [Isaiah:52:10]
"...*so* *will* *he* *sprinkle* *many* *nations*; *the* *kings* *shall* *shut* *their* *mouths* *because* *of* *him*: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider."
      [Isaiah:52:15]
So Isaiah:53:9 refers to Israel's subjection by the Gentile kings which came as a result of no violence or deceit on the part of Israel...
Was Jesus non-violent according to your Bible?
Jesus was hardly a non-violent guy as we read of his clearing of the temple in Matthew:21:12, John:2:13 - John:2:16....
As he drove out the money changer in the temple with a whip made of cords and scattered their money all over.
In Matthew:10:34 he is referred to have claimed that he came not to bring peace but to bring a sword...
And last but not least in Luke:19:17 he ends a parable by saying:
"...'those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them - bring them here and *kill* them in front of me"
      [Luke:19:17]
Lastly Isaiah:53:5 and Isaiah:53:12 can be examined together....
Both verses speak about how the "Suffering Servant" was wounded and crushed for the iniquities and transgression of a group:
"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities... He poured his life unto death, and was numbered with transgressors. For he bore the sins of many, and made intercession for the transgressors"
Once again this group is the Gentile Kings or Gentile nations who say in Isaiah:53:4 - Isaiah:53:5:
"Surely *he* *took* *up* *our* *infirmities* *and* *carried* *our* *sorrows* yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced by our transgressions; *he* *was* *crushed* for our iniquities..."
      [Isaiah:53:4 - Isaiah:53:5]
These nations and kings originally thought Israel was being punished for its own sins but they came to realise that Israel was suffered as a result of their own sins and actions...
Jeremiah:50:7 is another example of how Israel came under foreign control and tried to say it was their own fault they were captured due to their own sins...
"Whoever found them devoured them; their enemies said, 'We are not guilty for they sinned against the Lord, their true pasture, the Lord, the hope of their fathers'."
      [Jeremiah:50:7]
Isaiah:53 may have some vague references to someone who was pierced and crushed for sins but it makes little to no sense to apply Jesus to the passage...
When exactly was Jesus "crushed" for sins though?
Isaiah:53:10 talks about how "...he will see his offspring and prolong his days"
      [Isaiah:53:10]
According to Orthodox Christianity, Jesus never had any offspring and his days were certainly not prolonged if he died around the age of thirty...
The next verse also says that "...by his knowledge my rightful servant will justify many, and he will bear his iniquities."
      [Isaiah:53:11]
Some Christians try to say that it is better translated ‘by knowledge of him’ but even if this was the case, it is faith by which people are saved in Christianity not knowledge…. It is faith by which people are saved according to your doctrines….
So if Isaiah:53 states that "...by knowledge my righteous servant will justify many"?
Then it goes *against* Christian teachings does it not?
The entire doctrine of Christianity is built open rejecting knowledge in favour of faith…
Considering that Christians teach that faith is the way to salvation, in instance, Ephesians:2:8 states:
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith..."
      [Ephesians:2:8]
      Also 2 Corinthians:5:7 states:
"We live by faith, not by sight."
      [2 Corinthians:5:7]
I should think that every Christian would agree that simply knowing of Jesus does not mean that one is saved…
Thus I leave on another example, James:2:24 reads that:
"You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone."
      [James:2:24]
Thus we can conclude that Isaiah:53 is *not* *talking* *about* *Jesus* whatsoever...

    Isaiah 52, 53...
Behold, My servant will prosper, He will be high and lifted up and greatly exalted. Just as many were astonished at you, Israel, So His appearance was marred more than any man, His form more than the sons of men. Thus He will sprinkle many nations, Kings will shut their mouths on account of Him; For what had not been told them they will see, And what they had not heard they will understand.
Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of parched ground; He has no stately form or majesty that we should look upon Him, Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him. He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with pain And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely our pain He Himself bore, And our sickness He carried Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He did not open His mouth; Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, So He did not open His mouth. By oppression and judgment He was taken away; And as for His generation, who considered That He was cut off out of the land of the living. For the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke was due. His grave was assigned with wicked men, Yet He was with a rich man in His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was there any deceit in His mouth. But the Lord was pleased to crush Him, putting Him to grief; If He would render Himself as a guilt offering, He will see offspring, He will prolong His days, And the good pleasure of the Lord will prosper in His hand. As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see and be satisfied; By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, As He will bear their iniquities. Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the booty with the strong; Because He poured out Himself to death, And was numbered with the transgressors; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the transgressors.

Why would ONE being refer to themselves in the plural form? Also, in the Old Testament (the Torah), God always refers to Himself in the plural when He talks about creating or coming down to visit earth. When God decided to create man in His image, He said, "Let US create man in OUR own image.." Or when God came down to see the Tower of Babel, He said, "Come, let US go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.” God is Three in One, kind of like a husband and wife become one flesh.

Anyone could easily find a dozen other examples where JC violated the Torah. He's a fake messiah, that's clear and obvious. Anyone who doesn't recognize that is just brainwashed by the culture that invented christianity. It's called a fraud, and then they scam you to believe nonsense. Most people are ignorant of what's in the Torah, so they get fooled. By contrast, the Jews teach their kids Torah from day 1. I was appointed before the world, before the start, before the earth’s beginnings.
When I was brought forth, there were no ocean depths, no springs brimming with water.
    I was brought forth before the hills, before the mountains had settled in place;
he had not yet made the earth, the fields, or even the earth’s first grains of dust.
When he established the heavens, I was there.
When he drew the horizon’s circle on the deep,
when he set the skies above in place,
when the fountains of the deep poured forth,
when he prescribed boundaries for the sea, so that its water would not transgress his command,
when he marked out the foundations of the earth,
I was with him as someone he could trust.
For me, every day was pure delight, as I played in his presence all the time,. playing everywhere on his earth, and delighting to be with humankind.
“Therefore, children, listen to me: happy are those who keep my ways.
Hear instruction, and grow wise; do not refuse it.
How happy the person who listens to me, who watches daily at my gates and waits outside my doors.
For he who finds me finds life and obtains the favor of Adonai.
But he who misses me harms himself; all who hate me love death.””

Faith without works is dead! As a Christian I believe these words in the scriptures: "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only." (James 2v20-24)

TroobAdoreMusic Yes it does. It's one of the primary teachings of the Bible and Christianity.
With regards to the Holy Trinity, Jesus is, in such a way, God in human form, as described in Matthew, it (the holy trinity) is one of the most fundamental teachings of Christianity, which subscribes to the belief that Jesus is God. This picture helped me understand it:
      upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b3/Shield-Trinity-Scutum-Fidei-English.svg
John 4:16: Jesus said: "I am the Truth, the way and the life. No one comes to the father (God) except through me".
That is the primary reason why Jews don't believe him to be the son of God, nor the Messiah. He was still a good man, and a good teacher, but he is not apart of our religion. In the same way that Vishnu is not apart of Christianity.
