A great tutorial in the replacement of the connector. I have to confess I came to Nintendo in my late teens in the 90’s do the Snes was my machine of choice. Happy days playing 4 player super bomberman with the multitap. But now considering getting a nes to add to my retro collection.
On my NES, i got it like new by opening up the console and getting at all the internal cartridge connections with spirit. I can't remember how i did it, probably with a robust piece of card laced with the spirit and plunged into all the connectors.

Thanks very much. Yes I would defiantly consider an NES, really enjoyable machines to won and use, easy to maintain! I don't regret mine at all!
