I dinked on Hemric for his Cup run thinking it was too early. I was kind of right. 2020 was a rough season for him in Xfinity.
Then he got the 18 car. Driving his heart out and being consistent. Being in position week in and week out for wins. Even with the curse. He became one of my favourites for the season.
And when that caution at Phoenix came out I thought it was over for him. But he pulled a *perfect* move. Didn't wreck Cindric or anyone else, just saw a gap and took it. Some might say it's dirty, but it was a clean move. Even Dale Jr. said he would have done the same thing for the title.
I think this year's final four (besides Gragson) were the real class of the Xfinity series this year. Should Berry have been in? Sure, you could argue that. Ty Gibbs probably would have run away with it if he was eligible. But Hemric managed to beat the best on skill and consistency all year. We shouldn't forget that.

Besides being a Daniel Hemric fan, I'm also Austin Cindric fan and I wasn't even mad he lost either because at least he got his title last year and it was time for someone else to have the spotlight. Now with that being said, I cannot wait for the titanic battles we'll have in the Xfinity Series next year especially since you have the Ty Gibbs vs Sam Mayer rivalry from ARCA, Josh Berry, reigning champ Daniel Hemric who will be hungry for more checkered flags or trophies now that he's got the giant monkey off his back, Justin Allgaier, AJ Allmendinger, Sheldon Creed, and Noah Gragson

Hemric wonders if he will ever win. Waving through a window from the show is a good example. He wants to be excepted in nascar as a proven winner. On top of everything else this season he was only paid by JGR if he finished in the top 5 of a race.

I love Daniel and I'm happy he finally got that win and championship. but I honestly belive his wife is the better driver of the family. saw her race in a k&n pro series race at bowman gray stadium. she got jacked up coming off of turn 2 and was completely side ways going down the straight away and saved it going into the corner all while gaining 2 positions. after that I was a fan.

I see somebody has a very weird obsession with exposing the playoff system that has been exposed several times now.

Even if Hemmorhoids didn’t win until the last race, he was the best driver all season. He had 9 top three finishes in 2021 prior to the win.

Cindric was easily the best driver in 2021, if there was any yesr he should have won it was 2018

I take blame for jinxing Hemric into winning the 2021 Xfinity season and winning his first race lol

LOL I can imagine the scenes if the recently crowned champion ever fails inspection at the season finale, it'd be like Steve Harvey announcing the wrong winner meme

I'll be honest I really thought his career was over. We watched so many great drivers come and win races and championships in the same cars he drove. The criticism was fair, but Daniel proved everybody wrong.
