#0 was the #3 of Dirt Late Model racing. Every time when you would go to a big race, I always looked around to see if Bloomer was there. Whether you were a fan of him or not, the dude was one of the two best ever to race dirt late models. The other being Moyer. I am so proud to be from the state of Iowa. Two of the best. R.I.P. Scott.

It's really sad, because my grandpa was friends with Scott. When we went to events like Dirt in December, my family always cheered him on. He was like a family member to us. RIP to one of the greatest racers of all time, Scott Bloomquist.

Im 57 today reminds me of hearing the passing of Richie Evans at Martinsville on the local news ! My parents would take us to tracks all over NY to watch the greats of modified racing and watch my uncle with his street stock! like Richie was the goat of the mods Scott was the goat of Dirt Lates! Wow, is that an incredible name to put Scott's alongside and he's absolutely deserving. Everyone has Foyt, Andretti, Parnelli, Gurney on their Mt. Rushmore of racing. Mine is Scott Bloomquist, Steve Kinser, Richie Evans, Dick Trickle.

I've been a fan for well over 30 years. Got to hang with him at Lebanon Valley Speedway in New York. Couldn't stop myself from walking over and sticking around. The coolest thing ever is that I have raced there a lot and took it upon myself to throw some advice at him and I will be damned if he didn't go out on the track and do just what I said and he was fast. If he hadn't had a radiator problem he would have had them licked.

What other racecars did he race and win in? Moyer was the best. Scott was great in L.M.. If Scott would of stopped his off track deals his racing deal would of been easier for him, he had sponsors drop him because of it. One Sponsor lost the complele Truck and Trailer (loaded) for almost a full year over him. (impounded by the Law)

I had the pleasure of attending many races which Scott was in, and not one time did I ever see him cheap shot another driver whether it was a win or loss. I always believed he was using a marketing psy op saying the things he said. He would always say you had to make yourself stand out and he did an excellent job of it. He was also the greatest dirt racer I ever saw and a mechanical genius in his own right. May he R.I.P.
