The DeWalt Cordless Cable Stapler is designed for electrical contractors and anyone who runs significant amounts of electrical cable. Electrical codes require that wires be secured to framing structure. This usually means hand-stapling hundreds or thousands of staples. Nothing comes close to delivering the power and consistency to streamline the wire-stapling process like this stapler.
The stapler runs on DeWalt’s 20V Max battery platform and comes kitted with a 2 Ah battery, case, and charger ($249) and is available as a tool-only if you’re already vested in the platform ($199). The stapler utilizes the latest in cordless tool technology: brushless motor and lithium ion battery. The two combined make for a powerful gun that does what it’s designed to do (in most cases).
I asked DeWalt to send the stapler to us to test out. I’ll be passing my sample along as a donation to our friends at YouthBuild [youthbuild.org]-not because I don’t like it, but because I have no use for it on a daily basis. Our electrician Heath Eastman got a sample to test out as well. Heath put the stapler to the test throughout his jobsites along with his crew.

I’ve been using the Dewalt stapler for two years now. Great, great product. It really speeds things up. It won’t replace the traditional steel staples because some spots are hard to get to with the stapler.
This would be great for hanging Christmas lights on a house.

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. "It's a bute Clark".
Surprised it doesn’t have a depth / strength adjustment similar to that of a finish nailer.
I'll be picking this up in a few weeks.
I've had mine for a few months. It's been awesome. I wasn't on the DeWalt battery platform but I figured I'd try it out I kinda gave up on Milwaukee coming out with one. I'm sure they'll come out with one now that I made the purchase. I do find my self using more staples then I would doing it by hand. I feel like Chevy Chase putting Christmas lights up with this thing.
and it's now been leaked :)
Excellent review. Most telling endorsement: “I went out and bought another.” Thanks for the realistic assessment.
Outstanding review!!
I LOATHE hammering staples, even around my house, so I bought a Gardner Bender(?) spring powered stapler, and I like it a lot. I can't justify the expense of this tool and staples yet, but it's keeping it's place on my wish list.
Wow. I've been an Electrician for over 40 years. This sure is a long way from where I started. My boss 40 years ago, wouldn't even let's us greenhorns use an electric drill. Ever drill out a roughin using just a brace and bit? He'd be rolling in his grave if he knew of this.
I use this for hanging light wire fencing. It's nice having the wide crown, but the tip safety is picky about wanting to staple thick material like a Romex wire, as opposed to a fencing wire.
I own one and I really like it, only problem is the light stopped working so I have to really look so I don’t drive a staple through a wire!
Moving away from the Cyril Figgis look. Good choice!
That stapler needs another button in or on the trigger to toggle staple punch depth. That way you could cinch wires & cables. Hope DeWalt finds this in the ether.
U misspelled charger .....
People will be kicking themselves in few weeks if they miss the opportunity to buy and invest in bitcoin
I wanted to trade crypto but got confused by the fluctuations in price
@@jerryhills2145 That won't bother you if you trade with a professional like Mr George hendricks
I heard his strategies are really good
Yeah
My first Investment with Mr George Hendricks aim me profits of over $24,320 US dollars and ever since then he has Been delivering
He has really made a good name for himself
What is a Cahrger?
I’ll wait for a Milwaukee version. If and when it happens.
I’m a Milwaukee guy too. This stapler has zero ramp up if you needed to know that.
Announced today!
Watch. The second I buy this, milwuakee is going to announce that they made one 😂 regardless. This is something I need
I 'd like one, l need it at my house. Who did anyone use it? And give me his opinion on it.
if Dewalt stops making those staples the whole tool becomes useless? That's a little scary
Who’s this guy?
"unique one-of-a-kind". Wow, it must really be the lone, sole and solitary product of it's kind!
That's a lot of words to say absolutely nothing. Especially the most important thing, like how to load it.
First team Silva
call me old fashioned but I rather carry staples and a hammer to be honest
@@Kevin-mp5of your not old fashioned your ancient
this old toupee
Instead of using a hammer… a normal stapler is doing same job for $30
Cahrger
If it's not Milwaukee its a waste of money.
