Get some safety glasses. It's the most important tool in any shop. One trip to an eye doctor to have them " fish " out debris in your eye will teach the importance of them. Safety is no accident.
A lift for bug trucks is a god send! Cant begin to tell you how much easier it makes doing clutches or anything else that you would have to use a creeper for. Semper Fi from an old Marine

Personally would have installed the clutch first , using the input shaft she was fond of. Can't ever remember having a change of clothes halfway through a job either. But when you look that good nothing else matters.

She also held an Inspection Authorization Certificate AKA an IA certificate. She is highly skilled with aircraft avionics repairs and new avionics installation. She recently retired from the FAA after a long career performing aircraft repair, inspection and running a FAA repair station in north Florida before her selecting the position of an Aviation Safety Inspector (ASI) where I met her and worked with her. She is a friend to this day and always will be……..

Anyone else ever put the entire clutch assembly on the transmission and able to bolt the pressure plate in place..😜 The old stuff doesn't go together like that..
I'm an ase certified diesel mechanic and I've done plenty of these and there is No way she did this alone and that easy. Any time I've done these I come out looking like I jumped in a pool of grease and oil. she don't have a spot of dirt grease or oil on her long sleeves or pants and her nails are way to long and clean and painted nice. I'm betting she only did what was in the video for the install. Tighten a few bolts and lift the clutch pack on.

The clutch has to be mounted with bolts and torqued.
I wish It went that way, after 40 years of wrenching I've never had one go together that smooth or easy.

Those are very heavy. The old trucks were lighter. Now, clutches a real heavy.

I think it started to slide so they tied off the tailpiece to hold it level and steady.
