If we ALL learned how to treat ourselves better in the long run we would treat others better....we treat ourselves bad and by doing so we create disdain, contempt, anger, hate, animosity, helplessness, etc.....then what do we do with these feelings we have inadvertently created? We take it out on everybody around us...especially on people we hate through violence, and in turn take it out on ourselves because they or their people come for the comeback or we go to the penal system for it. The key = No matter how rough it is or how unfair it may seem, we got to deal with our own situation like men and learn to love ourselves through it all. This is the road out of this never ending cycle. Hate has got us nowhere.
This is got to be replayed a hundred times a day.....I have to agreed with the comments, that’s one of the hardest interview I’ve seen in here!

Deep interview you displayed with o/g cutes @kevmac. You cant tell the youth no more simpler than that when it come down to the choices of ones life. I learned the hard way and started crippin in the late 80s and end up doing two prison terms for gang shootings that cost me 22 years of my life. I salute you o/g cutes for being frank and honest about the bad and the ugly side about this banging. Kids stay in them book and set positive goals for youself and be a beacon for your culture, your family, and your community. Peace n blessing!

I'm not even going to front I thought Cutes was exaggerating a little bit when I first started listening to part 1, but by part three I got nervous just listening to the podcast. This is another classic 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow Man this is one of the best OG Crip interviews series EVER. Mr. Cutes gave info on all the questions I had. His crip initiation story was very eyeing because it seemed like most baby crips walked on as being a crip back then. Big Took gave him two punches for his initiation lol. That’s a very rare story you would ever hear. Stories of Tookie that have never been heard of. The talks of Buddah and Tookie telling Cutes to keeps crips going at school. The story that was music to my ears is that Raymond Lee Washington, Donald Sweetback Archie, Barefoot Pookie and Stanley Tookie Williams were all at St. Andrews Park together. No Godfather! People said Raymond didn’t know Tookie well a real G like OG Cutes confirmed it to many times. Even confirmed and said Raymond met Tookie at High School about joining the Crips. OG Cutes names Big Kountry, Big James Miller, Buddah, Big Elgin, A.C and saying the Piru’s where Crips first but wanted to be something else but we’re the first Blood Gang. I pray you can make these stories into a movie or a tv series with a big production company that will do right and respect gang culture stories as if telling and showing the real through good acting for film. The message at the end was the best it was no sugar coat or excuse. Thank You Kev Salute

I did 14 years in the CDC, beginning in the early 90's, at the very end of the Crip paperwork era. In Cutes day, you had to be a true soldier to go against the grain of being under paperwork. His mentality won out, now most Crips disdain paperwork. Many will debate if that was a good thing or bad thing, but thats another story.
