  • The Dagestan Chronicles presented by Will Harris Productions
    As you all know, back at UFC 223, UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov invited me to Dagestan, Russia.
    Me being the trooper I am, took him up on his offer and came abroad to witness and learn more about the people of Dagestan.
    I am thankful to Khabib, his family and his management team for inviting me over to Dagestan to experience something no one has done before from the US. I learned so much about the Dagestan Culture, the Muslim Faith and the humility in which the champ has. There are too many people to thank for this moment and I will later in the future. I hope my journey is appreciated and stands tall in time next to the great productions I will produce in the future. These moments will be with me forever.

      This statement of Muhammad Ali in this video is wrong, Will. Ali said it when he was in sect called "Nation of Islam". Then he left this sect and changed his views. Islam teaches that the only religion that is accepted by God is Islam, it is said in Quran Surah 3 Ayah 19. And there is Ayah in Quran that Jesus, Moses and other Prophets were muslims. But then people distorted their teaching and said that Jesus is God etc. They (Prophets) didn't teach this. All Prophets of God were teaching 1 religion called "submission to one God", in arabic this religion is called Islam. God didn't send different Prophets with different religions, it's absurd.

    I am 50 years old and a Marine Corps Vet. I have been searching for the kind of discipline and humility that Khabib represents all my life. This is what it means to be a man. At such a young age this kid eclipses me and so many others. I still run my mouth when I get mad, sleep later than I should and eat bullshit. I need this kind of truth in my life. It ain't easy in the land of TV and fast food and big mouths.

      All our ways of socialism, thinking, beliefs and physical activities are completely different.
      The closer you are to cities, the more Westernise the lifestyle is. No matter what country you come from.
      The mentality is "All for one one for all" as apose to, "One for all, all for one"
      When you go home. Everyone is the same :). You respect and learn from your elders. You teach and learn from the youth.

      @MrAkaalis To interprete Qur'an you should know the context and pre-text, not just the text itself. Even you should understand arabic to the highest extend, because every word sometimes had multiple meanings. Thats why we have a scholars, great scholars whom interprete and informed us in very cautios manners.
      There are a different statement about women slavery from our great scholars, but 99% said its no longer necessary and forbidden.
      Laws in Qur'an contain a variety of allowance.
      1. It allow only in Prophet time
      2. It allow in one verse, then dissalowed in another verse (which is later in revelation)
      3. It is conditionary or emergency.
      4. It is Absoulte for every time and every condition.
      You have to know the Pre-text, context, and understand arabic language, then you know what the text refer to

    Khabib = beloved
    NurMuhamed = light of Muhammed
    So his name means beloved the light of Muhammed. Pretty cool! Reminds me of Muhammed Ali as well and how both legends have the name "Muhammed" after our Prophet Pbuh. May Allah SWT bless them both and bring peace to every single human being and the ummah. Ameen. :) Allah knows best.
