Me being the trooper I am, took him up on his offer and came abroad to witness and learn more about the people of Dagestan.

I did that before. I fast so I don't eat until after 5, I trained on a 21 hour fast. I had the energy to go on but man when it came time to eat I put the smack down.. On the canned tuna and rice 😂

Random Person again are we talking about a region or country. Dagestan is in Russia, correct? The Russian people population is huge. Also it’s about culture and even though the sport is world wide, Brazil will always produce more Athletes because of its deep history with martial arts. So the notion that there will more Caucasian fighters I don’t agree with. However, it’s expressive how a small regions in Russia can produce great athletes.

It’s kind of emotional and humbling at the same time to see their culture and how close they are and how materialistic items mean nothing. While here in America, it’s all flatscreen TVs, apple ear buds, expensive things when in their part of the world, it’s all family and God.

Their culture is very similar to ours, north African culture, I mean sure, same religion, but when I see the city, the ambiance, the mannerism of the the people, it's so familiar to my surroundings.. very strange.
But it's changing in front of our eyes and we can't do anything..... Media is totally inspired by materialistic American style (materialism of American cities, of course like every country America has its pros and cons), actually most of them are backed by American media houses and it's just materializing everything.... I don't know but I really don't wanna lose our family system and that old values of love and honour. But we're changing.

You realize there's been something like 5000 different religions right? Imagine how lucky you'd be if god was actually real and you were born into the right religion. Most of the other people who was alive on earth never stood a chance as they would only ever hear about 2 or 3 religions throughout their life.
A second thing to consider. Who told you that the quran was the true book? God or man? You argue by pointing to a place in your book but the person who was born into a different religion will argue by pointing at something in his book. Both are pointing to man made creations..
I'm honestly a little baffled how people with access to the internet and the knowledge it provides can still think religions are real and one is more correct than the other..
If you want to practice a religion that's fine with me but thinking your religion is any more correct than the other thousands is pretty stupid.
We believe in the same God, our goal in this world should be the same: be a good, kind and empathetic human while you're on this Earth. Most Christians forgot about that and we've become spoiled with material objects and goals of status and started looking down on each other. That was not the message of Christ. Our Muslim brothers are more level headed and take better care of each other, nevertheless.
Having that said, Khabib is a very special human being and so was his father, rest his soul in peace 🖤

Khabib just showed us how superhuman he is. I mean he's training heavy at the gym while depriving himself any kind of food or even a sip of drink for 17 hours, and I can't even make it past 6 hours in between eating at dawn and iftar without feeling drained and thirsty already.
For him it's just like another day. Because 'cutting weight' is the same as fasting, and he have been fighting professionally since he was young, cutting weight Everytime there is a match, so for him it's easy

I have fasted for several days while going to work and intense training, the human body is designed to store fat cells in the body of which it slowly feeds of thus this does not make u a superior human being it quite simply makes u a regular person.
