      Wow, that’s really nice to hear, the videos could be more interesting , they are essentially videos of cars that we have for sale, I would love to do more interesting videos but just don’t have the time unfortunately, really appreciate you watching and commenting

    What bugs me about this car a little bit is when u are doing 0-100 km/h when you reach the end of second gear, ur doing 90kmh which increases the time to 100kmh. If second gear was a tad bit longer, this car at times could be below 7 seconds to 100 stock. Overall it’s a lovely understated car

      Understood.. it’s been an issue on some cars and fast diesels especially 🙂🙂 I had a 99 accord type R Back in 2004 and it was annoying when you hit VTEC in 1 st and went to the Rev limiter when you went for 2nd it was off the high cam for about 750 rpm 🤷🏻‍♂️ but every other gear after stayed on high cam .. bizarre

      @@doolanbrian ye, if this 1.5 had a normal auto DCT,(Which unfortunately it doesn’t)it wouldn’t be a massive problem seen as DCTs change gears instantly. But I’m just being very critical. The performance on it is really good for its size ;)

      I guess this behaviour is similar in the 1.0 flavour, Honda states 11.2 for 0 to 60mph but you can invest less time for it

    I have a 2018 hatchback sport touring. I have had it for 2 1/2 years. The car has 37,400 miles. I have had some major issues. My master cylinder went out at 35,000 miles. The ac compressor & condenser went out at 35,000 miles as well and would of been around very close to $3,000 to fix. My lane keep assist always gets triggered by shadows from power lines. The dealership could not find the problem. So they told me to turn off lane keep assist. YES! THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME TO TURN Off A SAFETY FEATURE. Also the brake assist comes on when a dark spot or pot hole is in the lane. The infotainment screen some times goes black. In addition to all that my driver seatbelt feels like its sticking. When i buckle the seatbelt it feels like it doesn't want to latch. When i try to take it off it feels like its stuck and doesn't want to release the belt. Even though i have had these issues i love my car. It drives just like my old 2013 bmw 328i. Never had major issues with my bmw. But the bmw was falling appat pretty fast. The light fixture was falling out of the bmw trunk and the panels on the inside were coming loose. And the fake crome was peeling off. Also my window switches became unstable and were sinking into the door panel of the driver side.

    I've got the 1 litre Civic and not driven a 1.5. Some reviews I've seen say the 1.5 didn't feel that much faster on the road? I can't imagine that as 0-60 is a lot faster and had one cylinder more and is 50% bigger 😅

    • @doolanbrian
      @doolanbrian  Před 3 lety +2

      Thanks for watching Richie ! There is over 2 secs in the difference in 0-60 and the 1.5 torque is 240nm as opposed to 180nm in the 1.0 so that’s just under 30% .. I do find a difference ... but then again there is a difference in price too !! So it depends what’s important to you 🙂

      Hi Adam .. You hit the MAIN button and then SET .. Do you mean do you want to use cruise control without the adaptive functioning?

    • @adamhughes3271

      Yes sorry i ment without adaptive cruise control

    • @doolanbrian
      @doolanbrian  Před 2 lety

      I totally understand what you mean, and it’s actually not possible, you have to use the adaptive function while cruise control is engaged to the best of my knowledge✅ , You can turn off the cut in prediction of where it slows down when it thinks somebody is going to pull across the lane but other than that I don’t think you can escape the adaptive function

      @@adamhughes3271 It is possible to turn off, in "some" cars. Im not sure which ones, but if it works for you, you can press the Main button (be sure ACC and LKAS lights up) and then press the "distance to other cars"-button, for like a few seconds. It doesnt work for me tho for some reason. I have a 2017.
