One of the greatest gifts in my life is being able to go on a hike with my dad.
Together we debate and come up with solutions to the world's problems.
My dad always taught me “we must learn the lessons of history, otherwise we are doomed to repeat them.” My dad is 93, a healthcare professional, veteran and history buff. He’s a conservative who isn’t afraid to go against party lines to do what is right. He is a huge inspiration in my run for office. Thank you, dad, for teaching me to be assertive, to make my voice heard and to fight against extremism so the lessons of history don’t repeat themselves.
