So hyped to see this get back on the road. Been waiting since it went down. She's gonna be a menace to the streets for sure now.
Thanks for supporting the build! It truly will be just a few more small steps and it'll be on the road
Guys we absolutely cranked it out over the weekend on this car. The attention to detail on this car is absolutely incredible! Show car quality and I can’t wait to hear it fire up!
LETSSS GOOOOOOOO
Can't thank you enough Drew! We kicked ass and everything turned out perfect man 👍🏼
Anyway to get your contact info? I'm Cincinnati area and wouldn't mind to get a few things done to my turbo 4v if your interested
@@ronniepowell2418don’t bother, find someone else and reliable.

Don’t bother
Just wanted to make some corrections on the explanation of the alternator wiring. The green/red wire is the signal from the cluster that tells the alternator to turn on, it is NOT 12 volts. This is important because if you feed 12 volts to that circuit the regulator will fail. It is a resisted circuit that's around 10~11 volts. The yellow circuit tells the regulator how much charge the battery has so it can adjust voltage to keep the battery topped off. None of those wires are for "the gauge". The gauge simply gets it's voltage reading from the fuse panel.
I went back to verify how I did it on my harness and Wes’s. The only wire getting 12v is the green and black wire that originally went onto the fuse panel. The 2 wires that go into the connector that plugs into the alternator were only extended. Nothing was actually removed from them.
I just pulled a chair in front of my 97 gt & lifted the hood & said hmmmm, clicked on CZcams & this was on my home page so thanks haha!
Hahaha hell yeah that's awesome! Thanks!
Let's goo!!! Been waiting for this video since it first blew up lmao
So have we! Haha hope you enjoy!
Same lmao
Great video. I am really glad this car is finally going back together. Been following the build, keep up the amazing 2V content guys!
Thank you! So are we, we'll definitely keep up the content
aye this thing is going to rippppp
It'll indeed be a ripper! Can't wait to get her back on the road real soon!
Excited to see this unit going back together. Going to be an absolute ripper!
We are too thank you! It sure will be
Best mustang content on yt🙌
We try our best! Appreciate it thanks!
Lets go baby!! Im about to drop mine in this coming weekend as well!
Aye good luck!! It's a great feeling for sure
yesss
She's almost 100%!!
Great video guys!!
Good solid info!!!
That’s awesome!!
Great video!!!
Thank you! Drew absolutely knocked it out of the park with explaining everything and making everything so clean for the wire tuck and fuel system
It looks so damn good! Can't wait to hear it!!
Thanks! We can't wait either, been way too long!
Great footage and great work. Definitely a how to do video.
Thank you!
inspiring me to work on my 98 gt again, been putting it off for a while but i think this vid changed that
That's awesome! I'm glad we could be of inspiration to you!
Can’t wait to see this thing!
Hell yeah! Just ironing out a few small issues and off to the dyno she goes
Live the content especially anything 2v
Hell yeah! 🤘🏽
I'd be happy if I got 450-500 HP from my SN95. If I was going to race it I'd go to these extremes for 1000+ HP.
That power range is plenty to have fun on the street! I overbuilt the engine and fuel system in case I ever wanna get really serious with the build!
Let's gooooooo!!
Thank you! 🙏🏽
That killed me watching the battery cable going thru the holes in the frame with no rubber grommets.... how long before it rubs thru and shorts out??
I have rubber grommets I will be installing but for the videos sake we were trying to get everything done as fast as possible and didn't have grommets at the time
Nice work, north jersey?
Thank you! And more central jersey, somerset county
That’s not a 2valve that’s a boat anchor… Oh no wait that’s a tattoo on Wes’s arm..
Ahahah that's a good one!
All that work, send parts to powder coat but don't do anything with the crusty ass rust! Especially when you had the tank dropped!
What rust are you referring to?
@@RatchetWrenches @27:18 is a nice shot but the whole battery wire montage.
Car is sick BTW, I see that I didn't finish my comment and now I guess I am just a dick 😂
@commonsenseisdeadin2023 main priority was to get the relocation kit completed and engine in I can take the time this winter to clean up more rust if need be but no worries man! Thanks though!!
Do you have the build list of parts? Currently trying to build my 2V as well. Thanks!
I'll probably make a video soon of breaking down what parts the car has since I've gotten this question askef several times!
@@RatchetWrenchesawesome thanks! I currently have a build list from Todd Warren but want to look around too.
Todd is an awesome guy to work with
@@davidryan160
What ? Specs? On the motor rebuild?
Cams, heads, internals,
Top end?
I see a ton of cool parts,
What’s up??
Todd Warren Cams, heads have Manley oversized valves, and upgraded springs. Bottom end has Manley crank, Molnar Power added Rods and DSS -3cc dish pistons with all valve reliefs and upgraded wrist pins. Fuel System is the twin pump return style from Fore Innovations.
What state you guys in. I need some help to do some work on my 96. I cant do it on the ground in 10 degree weather lol.
In New Jersey and haha yeah I feel that working on the ground in the freezing cold is never a good time
@@RatchetWrenches i actually grew up in CT. Worked in jersey plenty of times. Thanks again, merry Christmas
Quick question, ware did the green wire he cut end up hooking up to? I’m in the mix of routing my alternator straight to the battery
The green wire is originally crimped onto the alternator power wire. And it goes to a connector near the fuse box you have to extend that wire and put an eyelet on it that will go on the fuse box that way your cluster can read voltage.
Thanks Dr. Drew, was gonna say paging Dr. Drew but you beat me too it 😂
Thank you!
woooooooo
What block do you have?
Iron block
hey where did you put the downstream 02 sensors
Only 02 sensors on the car are coming off the forward facing headers
@@RatchetWrenches but doesn’t the car have 4 o2 sensors
Or do the rear ones just not get connected
@liammcquillan6851 with the turbo piping it's only the 2 off the headers now! I forget but the old rear locations are either taped off or we had my tuner adjust for none
@@wesswanson4547 oh ok gotcha thanks
Need a link to those connectors
Which connectors are ya referring to?
@@RatchetWrenches the wire butt connectors he was using for the harness extension. The ones he was explaining don’t mess with polarity or something in the beginning.
You have a video of doing the battery relocation??
Unfortunately no. We included some in here but did a lot off camera since we had a lot of work to do in a short amount of time. I'll probably go over what we did in more detail in another video soon
