Hello! it is a tough one, I don’t have many flights on the RS4. But I do on the RAW 420. I think the RS four is a incredible value get everything you need for less than a RAW 420. I have a builder coming out very soon on the two models and a comparison of both of them.
Except Camera angle, you did a superb build and flight buddy. keep the camera angle higher next time. I too sometime struggle with camera angle on head mount

Hi. I just completed my RS4 and followed your build instructions, Thanks , made building very easy as opposed to just following the manual. I just flew, mine it drifts to the left pretty heavy. I went threw the servo 90 degree and pitch set up 3 times, and it still drifts left takes a good bit of right stick to hold it any suggestions how to fix it. Thanks
Awesome! Glad the videos where helpful! So that’s because of auto level. A trim flight will have to be done. If you take it out of auto level does stay without holding one way or anther?

So I just took it out in stunt one and once I got it settled down it would pretty much stay. I found the trim flight instructions which should be in the manual but is not. It works now it is pretty good but need to do again on a warmer day. Us amateurs need you! Wish I had 1/4 of your skills. Thank you so much
It's really disappointing to hear they left that stupid deadband in the FBL programming. I loaded their optional "for expert only" firmware on my S2 that removes the deadband and it helped a LOT. It's interesting you mention deadband on the collective, I have not noticed that at all on the S2, just cyclic.
I was very disappointed as well! And I was even more disappointed that it’s not an option in the Bluetooth app to adjust/tune to your style. I think that is something that needs to be done! Instead of a firmware update we should be able to adjust on the fly like we can everything else. The collective just feels very sloppy. Like the center stick is nonexistent.
@@westhobbiesrc8051 Thanks for mentioning this - definitely an issue a bunch of us flying OMP and Goosky have had to deal with on their smaller birds. Might be worth just going with an iKON or similar.
@@orbitalgolem91 I have played with the Bluetooth app tried everything I could in the FPL unit and it’s still there. I did a negative expo curve and it is better on cyclic but collective is just nonexistent at center stick. Going to do some more playing around and probably go iKon in the future.
Great! Though it's early, do you think the extra expense of the RAW 420 is justified over a Goosky RS4? (I'm a newb and have been sim training, but only want one 400-class.)

The raw 420 definitely builds Way faster and simpler. Bucks for a first kit to build and model a think it’s a great deal. I will have a comparison video out very shortly!

That RS4 looks locked in during flight. Has a nice and unique profile up in the air. Also, by any chance are you going to make a review on a NiTron 600? Im planning of going back to nitros and NiTron 600 looks tempting
It’s very solid in flight, has great power! The FBL definitely needs some tuning but it’s getting there. Yes I am! Just got one in from a customer, it’s a built model that I will be rebuilding and setting up as well as flying. Videos very soon!

Now do I recommend this over the 420? I don’t know yet, I have only gotten a few fights and I have some pluses and minuses on both models.

Both helis seems great to me, but I have the feeling that the raw 420 has more power and torque so that you also can fly comfortably at a low rpm. It's hard to judge by the videos (all very nice videos)👍👍. Do you feel on the sticks that the rs4 is a bit smaller or not? If the 420 (even with 380 blades) feels like a bigger heli, i know what to do 😀.
i know that the OMP M2 (which is more or less a copy of the Goosky S2) had a similar problem with a dead centre built into the flight controller. However, Jonas (the Main guy for testing OMP helis) found a work around for both TX16S and Spetrum Radios to essentially tune that deadzone out of the centre, and i can tell you it works really well! @@short5stick I was just looking at the radio when I said it. Yes, the dead band is in the FBL unit which is like expo. Desensitization center stick which is where I like the fly at.

Thank you! After some tuning it will be better! I would say it is tuned for the RS4 because gains would be different between the two sizes.

Raw 420 uses 420mm blades this heli the RS4 is a 380mm bladed heli.

What speed, agility, and gyro settings are you using for this model?
