Honestly Joy, I love the videos. I think the “prettiness and high production” is overrated in fragrance. Mostly we are trying to describe a smell through video which is no easy task. A fancy camera does not change the description at all. Keep it up brother, love your work.

Your setup is fine, never really had a problem with it myself. As far as fragrance addiction goes, I know it well. When you're really passionate about something like this, it really can end up being like an addiction because you can get caught up in always trying something new instead of just enjoying what you already have. There are so many fragrances that I see every day and I want to try them all, and when I see them I can feel them tapping into my craving for more fragrances. I start to think about whether that fragrance will be discontinued, whether it will go up in price, and then I come back down to earth and remind myself that I have so many fragrances already, and that I don't need it yet.

25 years ago I was enthusiastic about Hi-Fi. I bought a Hi-Fi system for 6, 500$. I remember clearly the owner of the Hi-Fi store telling me - "you are a technophile, not an audiophile. An audiophile spends that money on CDs, not on a system". This remark registered. Today I am enthusiastic about scents. I have less than 20 FBs, but I have dozens of samples. If it's scents you are crazy about, a sample (or small decant) is enough. People that buy many FBs are not perfume lovers, but rather are addicted to buying stuff, to packaging, to brand names. If all you care about is the juice, a sample is good enough. A bottle worthy scent is only a scent you know for sure you would wear/layer frequently. BTW, since I layer all the time, 15 FBs can create hundreds of scents !!! for example, today I've layered 3 perfumes in a certain way, and I've created a very unique and wonderful scent (my own scent/creation).

Your channel popped up in my feed after i watched some TLTG reviews. I only started watching reviews to make a purchase for a gift but i do have a appreciation for nice fragrances. You now make up 90% of my watchlist in your niche, keep up the great work. Ive heard of the other channels but i would never watch them, most of the channels i watch are sub 80-90k so that counts for nothing.
I appreciate your honesty regarding improving your production quality. It’s fine. Cell phone, few lights, handheld microphone and nothing but fragrances. I would love more fragrances in my collection. I have gone into debt (not credit card debt but using some of my bank savings) to build a small collection of 40-50 large colognes, 24 travel-sized decants, and 30 samples. It doesn’t seem enough. I focused on clones and cheapies, and now I regret it! I wish I focused on quality. I wish I had a Wish list with a priority and corresponding buying schedule. Thanks, Amin. DannyFragrance.

My wife slowed me down. I have had over 50 bottles of cologne and I did not prioritize my debts. I started gifting my bottles and buying new cologne every so often. It was hard but I needed it. I have a box of fragrances I keep. Anything over what can fit, I find one to gift. I just love cologne. My issues these days is that I have way too many fall and winter fragrances and I really don’t know any good spring or summer colognes. Ughhhh. Thank you for taking the time to share with us.

My wife slowed me down. I have had over 50 bottles of cologne and I did not prioritize my debts. I started gifting my bottles and buying new cologne every so often. It was hard but I needed it. I have a box of fragrances I keep. Anything over what can fit, I find one to gift. I just love cologne. My issues these days is that I have way too many fall and winter fragrances and I really don’t know any good spring or summer colognes. Ughhhh. Thank you for taking the time to share with us.
