I really wish these shows would stop overdramatizing every little thing. Im genuinely interested in hearing about these eerie supposedly haunted locations, but I cringe every time they try to act like mundane things like a camera not working properly in a cold damp environment is something paranormal. Or saying things like “I feel like someone is watching me, I gotta leave” on your way out. Hamming it up does not make the locations more interesting, it only makes everyone involved look lame and dangerously unintelligent.

Modern cameras can cut off in damp cameras because of internal humidity switches.
