Actually Horner bought RB Racing from Hemult in 1999 which was a F3000 team. It was Horner who developed the F1 team.

BTW Ferrari are going to kick themselves for taking Hamilton over Sainz, that's F1 for you ... Leclerc just isn't Sainz and he will never be so, as long as he his that ENORMOUS chip on his shoulder.

Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon will be the two that Redbull intend for 2025, Liam Lawson and Daniel Riccardo will be the two who take RBVisaCashApp into 2025, Wache will stay with Redbull but Newey will go to Aston Martin along with Tsunoda, and Merc will take Alonso or Max (and Helmet head) for 2 years until Kimi Antonelli (at Williams in place of Albon - DOG knows who the other driver will be - possibly Bottas, ) the grid is SORT of sorted, perhaps except for Audi who seem likely to take a Ferrari youngster (Oli Bearman? If he has enough points for an F1 licence) and Zhou Guanyu untill 2026 or 2027.

Checo's seat is his to lose trust me, If he finishes second again at the end of the season he's in next year, Red Bull have already hinted on renewing Checo's contract so long as he performs.
