I eat a lot of bread. I grab a baguette in the morning and maybe some cheese. It usually lasts all day. Joe has been cooking pasta in the evenings and I made eggs with bread last night. While walking I sometimes stop at a cafe for tortilla (egg & potato pie). Maybe I should make a video of our dinners?
@@TheCaminoGuide Hi. Thanks. That's not a lot of food... Is it by choice? I am a big eater, high metabolism am trying to gain weight. Am just wondering about the reality of keeping up with the calories, while also burning them. I suppose I am asking, am I going to be hungry on this walk? Haha!
I doubt you will be hungry. Walking 6 hours a day your body just forgets to eat sometimes. We eat pretty well and we drink a lot of water on the walk. Joe made dinner for us most nights (pasta) and we eat a lot of bread, cheese, deli meats, etc while walking... But in the couple of weeks we were there I did lose 5 lbs, so I'm down about 14 lbs from my peak a couple of months ago. And Joe and Jack each lost almost 10 lbs.
Love the birdsong at the start of the video. Looks like a really good day on the Camino.
Did you notice the sundial on the cathedral in Torres del Rio? I was fascinated by it when we went through there (about 3 weeks ago in fact)
Man, that is some fine weather for walking. What about the humidity?
Currently 70%. Tomorrow should be 71 degrees with 68% humidity.
You are right Viana is a really nice town. Logrono is big with lots to do via dining but other than that , meh!
Hiya Greg. What have you been eating, what do you take with you?
