Enterprise wasn't fitted with Photonic Torpedoes when this happened, that came afterwards.
And they only had 3 phasecanons
I remember the Klingons being taken aback at how the Enterprise was able to fend them off the second time around. They left drydock with hull plating that was 20% more resilient, in addition to the new torpedoes.
@@dougsmith6262 Yeah it was honestly quite funny - the first time the Klingons attacked them they were in serious trouble. The second time could best be summarised as "Get rekt" and the Klingon disbelief was palpable. It was a nice little nod to this being the first time of many that Klingons learned Starfleet had more bite than they gave it credit for.

To be fair the Klingon commander was a member of the house of Duras. So we know they can be chickens, especially when they are outgunned.

Captain.. ouff. yes I had to go watch the episode.. Enterprise era was 2151-2161 and Klingons for cloaking in 2268.. just saying... love the battle Captain. yes those photonic torpedoes helped.. but too bad the Starfleet ships didn't follow them towards the expanse, the Klingons made them waste ammo and other things.. that was a tough season.. eeh.. Funny. in the game here the Klingons has phasers but in the show 8 disruptors.. love the sounds anyway.. this was a crazy battle, and the end.. lol. only the wings and rear of the Bird of Prey left.. hmm 😊🖖

One small problem.....the NX class was not equipped with Photonic Torps until after this fight.

Redo the battle and this time put the enterprise on neutral, because his weapons were dissabled by the bird of pray and the Klingon were about to board the ship when the fleet arrived.

As demonstrated here and on Ent the photonic torpedoes are deadly.
Ummm. Duras, like his grandfather duras, we're cowards. However photonic torpedo came after the altercation near earth. Their first use by ent was against duras on the way to Vulcan.
You're right, Klingons "bought" cloaking tech from the Romulans. Back in Archer's time, they had very powerful ships, but no cloaking.

You see why Duras bailed.
The enterprise bird of prey seems to be a lot more heavily armed than later klingon bops. It also had a rear firing disruptor as seen when it was firing back at enterprise in that episode
I think it seemed more heavily armed because human ships were just bad for their size at the time
@@keyboardt8276 The offensive arsenal of the Bird-of-Prey was rather impressive, for the time, as the ship possessed at least eight forward disruptor banks, including a twin pair of neck-mounted disruptor cannons, a pair of wing-tip mounted disruptor cannons, and a 360º rotating turret containing twin belly-mounted disruptor cannons, along with 4 aft rear firing disruptor cannons. The class was also equipped with dual photon torpedo launchers, positioned fore and aft, and defensive shields. (ENT: "The Expanse",
From the official trek wiki. Yeah it outgunned tng bird of prey by a large margin. Though tng era ones made up for that with better shields speed and overall defence and maneuverability. Klingon disruptor technology didn't really change all that much unlike federation phasers which continually evolved so the stock damage of klingon weapons is probably more or less the same from enterprise to tng era

As others have said, fire the pulse disruptors on the bird of prey.

In the Augments episodes the BOP actually does fire beams after the torpedo with biological warhead is destroyed by Mr Reeds 4 Photonics that chased it

@RBG when you mentioned the two Jupiter class ships I was confused because I thought they were just Warp Delta ships, and when I did a quick look-up according to the fan wiki it says Warp Deltas are "Ganges Class ships". Tried to look online for the difference but obviously not a lot of info about other ships from ST:E period. Any idea are they just similar design, or is there some other explanation?
Cool video. This was my favorite space battle in Enterprise. I think the Klingon ship has pulse disruptors in that episode. Can you fire the secondary set of weapons on the ventral side of the hull?
For some reason the pulse cannons didint work. Yet the computer was able to use them. On further examination it would appear the mod is glitched.. 🤦♂️. Still I’m happy Starfleet was victorious. I think the battle was heading that way in the tv show 🖖

Wrong NX version, and you weren't using the pulse disruptors ?
Phase Cannons had been installed but not photonic torpedoes at the time of this battle.
@tomtimtomtim The Klingon Disruptors wouldn’t work for some reason. I mentioned this in the original video, but cut the segment out when editing (wish i hadn’t). From further research the mod is glitched. Weirdly the AI was able to fire it just fine 🖖
First of all. That battle did not happen in the Expanse. It happened while Enterprise was heading there. Second of all Entetprise did not have Photinic torpedos then. So, do this battle with the Enterprise with thrm torpedos and see how you do.
