If you hunt over open spaces or do long-range shooting, you're definitely going to want to see our Vortex Fury HD 5000 Applied Ballistics test! We took the brand new Vortex rangefinder binoculars to the range to see just how accurate the applied ballistics function would be. Sync the Vortex Fury rangefinder binoculars with the Vortex app, and viola. Will we be on target? Or are these a fluke?

Very useful, and nice shooting. Unfortunately around here it’s all mixed forest and cedar swamps, the longest shot you’ll ever get is 50 yards. I’ve been hunting for 50 years now, and my personal longest whitetail was 35 yards. Great video, thanks as always for sharing your experience, be well my friends.

Not only are they great binoculars and incredibly useful. But their warranty department is second to none. Pulled my Furies out pre season to change battery etc and the read out was bad. Sent them in postage paid and had a NEW Pair within 10 days. Why spend more of your hard earned cash for a brand that just costs more?

The glass quality and Lazer in the lica is gunna be miles above the vortex. The leica in this price range doesn't have the ballistics feature. To get the ballistics in the leica I think you are creeping up on $3000

So the longest range is 500yards the AB to generate longer than that not?
They definitely can. We just only had access to 500. They can range game for sure out to at least 1,200-1,300 because we were able to do that. We just didn’t have a range to also shoot at.
They say they can range game to 1,600 yards.
