    honestly this video doesn’t do Haaland any justice, the guy is a unit on the pitch. Strong, Tall, Rapid Quick and a deadly finishing ability. He consistently gets more goals than appearances and finished top goal scorer in the last champions league even though his team didn’t make it that far into the competition. in my opinion Haaland is the perfect striker and most definitely a defenders nightmare imagine this tank running towards you clocking in at around 37 mph 😭

    It's so amazing to see someone so tall have such a delicate touch on the ball. Especially on how he's able to control a ball that comes to him super fast while he's running fast in a crowd of defenders. That's what impresses me the most. It's a long way in that body between his brain and his feet, and yet he controls the ball like a much smaller man.

    Footballing positions can be confusing sometimes, but it’s quite simple when you understand it!
    As you know already, there are 11 players on each team, 1 goalie and 10 outfield players! Every team disposition they’re 10 outfield players differently (depending on their opponents or the clubs/managers playing style), but there 3 main parts of every teams “formation” (coming back to that) as it’s called. Defenders, Midfielders and forwards/strikers.
    Let’s take the “4-4-2” formation for example; This means that the team is setup with 4 defenders, 4 midfielders and 2 strikers. In this formation there are 2 central defenders or “centre back” as it’s called, one on the left and one on the right side of defense (left and right back). The midfield is straight forward, it’s called centre, right and left mid. You can also call the wide midfielders for “wings”. Forwards and strikers is what it is!
    Depending of the formation of course some teams like to put one it’s centre mids a bit higher up the field, right between the original midfielders and the strikers! This is called a offensive midfielder (or a “number 10”). Players like Messi play in this position.
    Similarly one of the centre mids can lay deeper than the rest of the midfielders, between the original midfield and the defense. This is called a defensive midfielder.
    Hopefully this helps a bit, but if you have any questions comment down below!🔥 explained it as simple as I could😅

    • @Bonethugs90
      @Bonethugs90 Před 2 lety

      When it comes to the different positions, some refers to them as numbers! For example, in the last comment I referred the offensive midfielders as a “number 10”. There is a reason for that and let me explain:
      Back in the days every team used a 4-4-2 where one of the strikers dropped a bit deeper to a offensive midfielder role (4-4-1-1). Starting 11 always used to get a number from 1-11 depending on which position you play on that day;
      1: Always the goalkeeper (and still is)
      2: Right back
      3: Left back
      4: Could be centre back, but normally defensive midfielder.
      5: Centre back
      6: Normally centre mid but could be centre back
      7: Originally right wing, but could be either or
      8: Centre mid. Players that are in the “number 8 role” nowadays are normally hard working guys that often helps out in both defense and offense. This is called a “box to box midfielder”.
      9: The striker, the centre forward, your main man, the goal scorer!
      10: Already explained
      11: Originally left wing, but could be either or

  • @adrianbetancourtbastidas4028

    For somebody of his age, He dominate both legs (he is lefty but he can score goals with a strong right), and he is very accurate, most of his shoots goes to the goal and he doesnt need to many opportunities to score a goal. I think he has the best score ratio in Europe., He is really smart, always in good position. He is a 9 (striker), Messi is a false 10, CR7 is a 7 but now he plays as a 9. In 2019 in the Sub-20 world cup he scored 9 goals in one match, that's crazy.

  • @Respectfully10

    As for positioning:
    He's a Center Forward.
    Different players are giving different roles.
    Target man: they give the ball to him at all cost to score.
    Creative man: they link up with him up front for tiki taka plays.
    Free role: he does whatever is best for the team when the ball gets to him.

    Haaland is currently THE most wanted striker in Europe. Clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester City and the other current biggest clubs alll want him. He will leave Borussia Dortmund (the club he is currently at) at some point soon, I think, but whichever club he ends up playing for are gonna be playing absolutely astronomical fees to Borussia Dortmund to sign him. Current rumours are Real Madrid are putting together a 292 million pound offer for him this summer (that's right more than 300 million dollars to sign him from Borussia). Where he will go is anyone's guess atm.

    If you plan on learning and understanding the different roles on a team, you've got some work to do :) The main ones are easy. Goalkeeper, Right back, left back and center backs are defence. Central midfielder and right and left wing on the midfield and strikers or center forwards on top. But how about false no 9 and no 10, what if they play 3-5-2, 4-4-2 with a diamond, 5-4-1 with wingbacks and so on.

    it's not a free kick it's a penalty and it happens when the defending team or the team that has the ball inside their half fouls the attacking players inside the box which is the two rectangles in front of the goal . or when the defending team touches the ball with their hands inside the box INTENTIONALLY . any foul outside of the box is a free kick and any foul inside the box is a penalty . and why haaland drags his leg is because the penalty should be taken in a continuous motion which means once you start you can't stop or go back a step so him dragging his leg is a trick players use so they can stop and see where the keeper is going while still moving forward . because a part of their body is moving forward the referee can't tell them they stopped because they didn't technically .
