Think Dock leaves are a good antidote for nettles, if there's some handy. Just rub onto the affected area, works well.

Well that was a pleasant surprise Ellie :) Yes I had previously guessed what sort of 'tent' you had bought, but that is huge compared with what I thought - and certainly increases your space a lot! I'm impressed you managed to do that on your own straight out of the bag - I've always been a pole tent person for decades but just gone to the 'dark side' with an inflatable air tent for easy solo set-up at my age ;) For a moment I thought your tailgate lock had gone (they can on these), but eventually you had success! Well done on the steak too - made me hungry lol
I hope you get used to the extra space and eventually set up even more kit to make the most of it! Looks fantastic and you know how to pick the best spots to camp don't you?

Haha thanks Pete 😄 Oh the chaotic Ellie is still in there but she’s extremely chill at the moment which makes a change 🤣 everything is going really well at the moment. And I was so shocked when I saw the size of the tent. I cut that bit out though cos I swore at how big it was and was dreading putting it up 😂 worked out well though. Hope you have some cool adventures with your inflatable one! They look really good as well. And I hope the tailgate lock isn’t going cos it keeps sticking when I try and open it 🙈 have a lovely Sunday and hope you’re doing amazing ❤️

i was expecting the tent to a bit of a challenge but not for Ellie! i would be more weary of the Canadian geese than the Swans. when you burst into laughter randomly in mid sentence all ways gets me smiling,good to see you had stitch belted up lol
The geese were not happy I was there and the swan was surprisingly chill with me 🤣 Haha I laugh at the most random stuff all the time 😂❤️

Just watched loads of your videos back to back. Only found you recently then you tube deleted everything and I couldn’t find you again. Loving the videos. Does keep raining a lot tho 😢 there’s something really oldie worldly about you . Like you could be in the sixteenth century and would be the same then. You’re a delight to watch and beautiful. Your eyes sparkle when you get excited. If you’re thinking about getting a van try a Volkswagen transporter which ly you can buy quite reasonably all ready converted. Extremely reliable and will always do the job. Take care. Jonny

Hello Eleanor, Nice that you let us share in your adventure again! I immediately remembered this lake from your birthday video last year, even before you said it (fun fact: my birthday is not far from yours!)! A very cool and spacious tent, but it's better to sleep in Stitch, why is that?! Is this actually a normal dress or is it specifically for going swimming, if I may ask?! Getting there Eleanor. Proper outside cooking, you did great. Cook and eat what you want. Shame all that effort to put up the tent, but you only stayed one night. Keep trying and stay safe.
Hey Martin 😊 yeah I wish I could have stayed longer. I’ll definitely be using the tent for a lot of stuff got so many ideas for it and I’ll do it for longer as well. A week living out of it somewhere would be interesting ❤️

That tent is going to make a real difference to your camping especially having somewhere to get changed standing up. Will get easier with practice, might be worth a folding stool for hooking everything up. Have fun!

Glad this video appeared on my feed. Great fun and humour. With that light that your camera doesn't like, i had the same issue recently, and someone told me it's when you're filming at 30fps the frequency of the light makes it go weird. Changing your camera mode to 24fps or something will fix it... so I'm told 🙂👍🏻

That tent is huge,not going to lie I thought you had a tent that folds off the roof but you could hold a party in there its that big.We admire your commitment to keep changing shot locations even though we would be happy with just the one😅Do you ever get the urge if your at a place like that completely alone to go skinny dipping? I LOVE that duvet! .. fair enough with getting back in Stitch, I can't sleep too well in tents though it's been years.. nice set up though, certainly gives that extra airy space to chill and cook 😎

Lol, when you first said about getting tent, I had more envisioned a roof tent. I didn't expect half a mansion. Takes me back to the massive 6 birth frame tent mum bought to go on holidays in when I was a kid. Had to have a trailer to go away!

Hi hope you are well.there a problem with the water at Devon apparently spreed to london.the advice is to boil the water before use.this is the water out of taps just a heads up.

What? A video with no rain? That wasn’t a bad effort, but you really should check instructions first or you might turn into a man. I really think I would pass swimming in a lake with ducks and swans. When your weather gets to a searing 25 degrees and the nights get a little bit warmer, you may find yourself wanting to sleep in the actual tent all night.
What do you mean you can’t cook a steak? Everyone can cook a steak surely? Mind you, over here during summer, especially, the barbecue is a preferred option so anyone in the family learns how to cook steak pretty quickly.
I think it was plainly obvious that you don’t plan much when you head out. I think generally that’s all you need, a basic idea of your destination because 90% of the time something comes along to screw you up anyway.
And now I know you’ve been waiting anxiously for our weather in beautiful Perth Western Australia. It has been fine, how unusual, with temperatures between 24 and 27°. We were supposed to get a storm front come through on Friday morning and nothing. We were expecting 10 mm on Friday and showers until Tuesday. Nothing not even cloud. It is dryer than a convent. (Sick Aussie humour) and I just looked at our official weather forecast and there is no rain in sight for the next week with 27 maximum every day until next Saturday at least. It seems the rain went around the city and ended up in the wheat belt farming area inland.
Here is a total useless piece of information for you. In Australia, we grow that much wheat, that, after we supply ourselves with what we need, we export 80% of what we grow.
That’s enough of me dribbling shit for this week and as usual, I look forward to your chaotic camping efforts next week. I hope the weather is nice for you although I have a friend in London and they are expecting rain for the next week. Fuck that.

Oh bloody hell it was hotter here today than Perth 😱 we’ve had actual sun and heat here the last few days but yeah apparently a storm from tomorrow and rain all next week. And no I’m terrible with cooking steak normally cos I never know how long to cook it for and always have the heat too high 😂. Yeah I don’t plan anything but the trip or overall idea anymore cos I like to keep it realistic and like you say it rarely goes to plan anyway 🤣 hope you have a lovely week ahead over there. Would absolutely love to see the beaches over there and can guarantee it would be sooo much better than anything I’ve seen before 😂❤️
