I'm so protective of my teeth. It cost like two grand for my braces and my retainers so I don't do anything with my teeth without explicitly asking my dentist first.
2'000$ WHAT DO THEY BRUSH THEMSELF OR SOMETHING
For braces and retainers collectively, I imagine that's the usual. I also had to wear some sort of contraption at the back of my mouth to correct my overbite before I even got the braces. My teeth were bad! I don't regret it.
@@becca2938 I got braces a couple months ago and they cost about 2,000 dollars aswell, I’m also gonna get a headgear that I’m gonna have to wear when I’m sleeping.

I had one for 4 grand and didn’t wear my retainer, they went straight back to their original spot within a month
Most of the people here have or are getting braces, and I Love popcorn but I can't eat it anymore so I would advise the Cheeto puffy popcorn things. They don't taste exactly like popcorn but it has a vague popcorn taste with the consistency of a puffy Cheeto

i dont know but when i got my braces on my ortho didn’t say anything about me not have popcorn or gum and i’ve had popcorn and gum a bunch of times since i’ve had my braces
I had popcorn and gum all 5 years I had braces, no problems. Carmel was the killer, it pulled off one bracket and I didnt have it again until after I got them off.

Man I used to have this really bad OCD behaviour where I would bite my teeth together at funny angles till it hurt. I outgrew it with help and stuff it turned out my OCD was triggered by trauma. It was such a scary thing to live with I cracked 3 teeth doing it and refused to see a dentist cos any time my teeth got moved or I lost a tooth of something the new bite would trigger off the need to clamp down. It was terrifying. I mean I ended up finding a fantastic dentist like this guy and it really helped they specialised in anxious patients and the fact I'm now here watching this video shocks me because I couldnt think or talk about teeth at one stage! It was insane!

Cornstarch would actually cause issues in the digestive system because when you mix cornstarch and water it makes a half liquid half soiled system that can’t make its way through the digestive system very well so I don’t recommend eating it plain

Cornstarch is fine to eat as long as you don’t eat like a pound of it. When you mix cornstarch with enough water, it losses its oobleck consistency, so even if you eat it by itself, it’s generally fine as long as it isn’t too much since there are enough liquids in the digestive system. And the acids in your digestive system should also break down cornstarch with no issue since it is a starch.

Same here I had a terrible brushing schedule but now I got braces and so I have to brush after every meal otherwise there’s gonna be food there FOREVER and also using tips from this guy my teeth have gotten much whiter even with a still mediocre schedule
@@facade0074 wait 20-30 min after eating as food will weaken the enamel, essentially brushing the enamel off of your teeth if you brush right after eating, he actually has a vid on it!
But yeah I had a HORRIBLE brushing routine from like 0-9 years old I think and I still struggle with yellow teeth 4-5 years later, I have braces tho so when I get them off I am hoping to get whiting strips

I seen that ladies story on strange addictions. She ate plastic for many years. On the shows she actually seen a doctor and he told her stop now because you’re killing yourself. It’s was affecting all of her organ but the main one with the most damage was her liver. Her liver was so inflamed that he said if she continued she would need either a liver transplant or she would die soon. The minute she walked out of his office she stopped. Just very strange addiction.
