The unsung heroes of the WWE
Honestly them and the camera/production teams
@@huntertracy3002 Amazing people
And the ones that Pat Patterson molested. He liked the young ring boys, and Vince AND Linda were fully aware of his sickness!
I completely agree
You acting like there outthere saving the world.
I see Ref Charles Robbinson is still doing ring crew stuff.
Legend
@@S_A_Films facts
Yeah he’s head of the crew
His biggest accomplishment is being 198 years old and still looking 45. 😀
He's gonna be a hall of famer when he retires just for being a ref
Every time I’ve gone to a WWE show (my first show was in 2002), I’ve seen Referee Charles Robinson apart of the ring crew. Had the chance to meet him in 2009 while he was doing it. This guy just loves the business 🙏🏽
Absolutely, he should be in the HOF soon
It's not only him. In 2019 we had a house show on the Road To Wrestlemania, the ref who was the referee for Brock vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania 30 helped us set it up, and that same ref was the referee for Brock vs Roman at Wrestlemania that year, when Roman became the Undisputed Champion.
I could sit here for hours watching the full setup and takedown
Same, it's very interesting
This in a way is more exciting to watch than the actual show. Being a tech type person myself.
It may seem an odd thing for some people, but I could too. Just to watch the crew assemble all the gear and equipment together.
I wish this was longer. Id happily watch the entire ring and set get broken down...even if it was a 9 hour video lol. Its so fascinating to watch.
Same here
Definitely takes longer to put it up versus take down
Would have loved to see that, but they probably were told to leave by security.
Is so nice seeing Charles Robinson help packing the ring up he's such a nice guy and a good Ref
I think all the refs are supposed to work that......
These people deserve the most praise for what they do !
I agree
I was thinking it takes an hour or 2 just to set it down but looking at this video. Just 5 mins and they're already half way done. Impressive
On cam and off cam. Charles Robinson loves this business so much.
It's nice WWE allows viewers to see them take down the ring, I actually never knew that and I've been to at least 4 - 6 shows in total
I was waiting for them to cut the straps on my Ringsider seats, alot of time they tell people to leave so there's not too many videos around of it
the logistics of how they do all of this while constantly being on the road and in a new city each night is so amazing
Lil Naitch still holdin' it down and leading the ring crew.
Just remember they do this twice every week
RESPECT👏
More than that if you count the house shows.
At this point, it's there Job 🤯
Don’t forget NXT
@@footballismyproperty1723 NXT is in the Performance Center so it's always there
Now That's something you don't see every day 😁
Love the guy who stands in the way just to text
Every job has one 😂
Wow I never know there was a lot of people helping and doing the work for wwe
Charles Robinson deserves Hall of Fame status. He is a legend.
I agree, he deserves it
Legend has it that hornswoggle is still under there.
Sending Emails 😂😂😂😂
no hornswoggle grew a couple of inches and is now known as JD McDonagh
Lil Naitch even doing ring crew duties. What a guy.
i was there one time when they took everything down because i had to wait for a wheel chair and they left me stay in the arena while we waited, one of the staff even told me a story from when they held wrestlemania 25 and other events
Picture them taking it down to find
A male and female wrestler making out.😂
Probably happened before.
So an so go home shows over.
Very cool. I was at Wrestlemania 25
It's awesome to see "Lil' Naych" still working on the ring crew...
Legend
The WWE is much more then wrestling it's a huge production.
3:42 nice to see Road Dogg enjoying a beer, reminiscing.
As child during the attitude era I used to wish that I did what these guys are doing
I've done it in real life at Indy shows it's very satisfying as a wrestling fan, at least for me
I worked for a regional wrestling company back in the early 80's. 4 of us that worked for the company and as many people we could wrangle into helping would do set up and tear down. Set up took about an hour, tear down half and hour to 45 minutes. That included hauling everything from and to the truck. We didn't have near as much stuff as in this video, everything fit into and 18 foot truck. If we had to set up chairs that would add another hour to each end of the show.
That has to be one of the most hardest job setting up the ring and taken it down etc but those guys are amazing workers
Hardwork boys
Back in the attitude era talent would come out and take the ring apart
When I was 4 years old I got to go on the rings from the 80s the old red white and blue ropes in the old Boston Garden
I’ve set up WWE ring in Texas a couple times. It’s work but it is fun doing something different than doing sound and jumbo screen set up with cabling every where! Ring Crew is the shit!
Actual video: how to pick up the mats outside of the ring
One of best WWE videos ever. This is so cool.
Charles Robinson is not just a ref, but a team member of the crew.
Wow! Great work, great men.
Awesome!! Thanks for posting this.
You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it!
Robinson doing this till this day should show you the love and passion
For sure! Legend
Wasn't the Warrior award supposed to have recognized some of these guys who do this work????
Best job in the world if I would say
Nearing 60, and Charles is still workin with gusto!
That is Great WWE Crew Take Everything Down
Appreciate it! I see you have similar footage, I think it's a cool insider for fans to see
I hope Charles Robinson gets paid overtime for this
I met Charles R. After wrestling in KC. My friend Gabe helps them at T-Mobile.
I've seen TONS of videos where pro wrestling rings are set up and taken down. This video is no differnet but awesome nonetheless cause I've done this myself while working on the indies.
I'd LOVE to see how the set up and take down the wwe titantron
how do u get a job like this?
I was expecting Hornswoggle to pop out from under the ring and start helping 😅
its amazing how fast they can put it up and take it down wow
Yup, years of experience
This was so satisfying.
Glad you enjoyed the video
They need a full video of the ring being assembled and disassembled ❤❤❤💛💛💛💙💙💙
They are STANS in the audience! Watching the ring get taken down! Show's OVER!
The pop Charles Robinson gets if he gets a HOF induction and works the main event of WM would be as big, if not bigger, than the participants in the match.
😂😂😂
Thanks for this video!
Absolutely! Hope you enjoyed it
the duck tape budget is crazy
🤣 best comment
here in Germany, most Venues have a tight shedule, means for Example from 6 - 8PM is a WWE Live Event and at 9.30PM theres a concert or something so they really dont have much time to f--- around with the setup.
I imagine in the US its the exact same
Better job than Nexus
Ref Robinson working overtime 💪🏻
Damn, they have the ref doing double duty.
Charles Robinson is an OG
I tried to stay and watch the ring be disassembled at the TD Garden in Boston, but got thrown out immediately after the last match was over.
Yeah TD Garden doesnt fuck around with this. The SECOND the show ends your ass needs to be out lol
Great video!!!!
Thank you!
Guys moving the stairs... "K, we got people with phones out, make sure two man lift to make steps look heavy."
It takes 3 guys to lift the steps.
It takes one beast to lift it and toss it like a toy.
Really Cool
Love it more please
Interesting
so organised
It’s little Nat
Chaz Robinson should be in the HOF
Those are the real 🌟 the Crew 😎
I always thought raw and sd had their own separate posts, huh
Please let me know one thing, what's the difference between old wwe production & current as I can saw changes in the crowd as they look different throughout the years as in between 2013 - 16 it was same then 2017 to 2019 it was same then changed again after pandemic with very rude looking quality and crowd how these happened??let me know
i used to be a female security back when i was 14 and i used to take down many WWE rings in my time its very tiring and exhausting so props to these guys who set it up and take it down every week in-between that i used to wrestle every saturday
That is awesome, thank you for your comment
@@S_A_Films you are very welcome and thank you for loving my comment :)
How were you working at age 14?
@@stansmith5610 Shes lying lol. Arena security doesnt touch the rings. I worked at MSG in that role for 5 years while I was in college.
@@stansmith5610 my dad got me into a wrestling business to start with called 3CW which is no longer around and i started training with them before i became part time staff in-between shows
I need this job
Haha
Legend has it Charles Robinson is still sprinting down that Wrestlemania ramp for the Edge Undertaker match.
Hahaha love this comment
@@S_A_Films thanks so much I never get responses from creators lol but man what I moment! I remember it so well from when they put it in the SvR video game
I used to do this at the local wrestling they used to have In mesquite Texas
Do any of the superstars come out to help tear down the rings or do they help load this up and put it on the truck on the truck?
So do these guys travel just like the rasslers? Stay in the same hotels as the wrestlers? I wonder what the pay is. Id love to know more about this type of job.
I'm just a very curious Joe.
How long are you allowed to stay after the show is over
I believe the arena decides that, I used to be able to go down and get pics with the ring, but now they boot you out where I'm at.
Watching the guy rip up tape reminds me of when I started doing staging (conferences concerts etc) my boss at the time said the entertainment industry is held together by dreams and gaffer tape seems like that's still the mantra of staging
I know about taking down and putting up rings ! Had to do this starting out years ago training to be a wrestler!
I wonder how many hour does it take everything down
Does the same crew just follow the show from location to location?
Break it down!
Haha
More like "how to remove the mats surrounding the ring" should be the title 😅
And all indy wrestlers do it to when training and paying dues. Part of the training. Hard work but fun.
They let you stay after the show is over?
Get Charles Robinson in the HoF ASAP, dude is the hardest working guy in the place, always stay's back to take the ring down
Completely agree with this
Well, why not the rest of the ring crew then?
@@Rjensen2 Just a shame none of them are really on screen personality so they wouldn't be acknowledged
Damn they don't wate NO time, huh? RIGHT after the show ends, they start taking things apart. That's crazy. Time is money, people! Time is money!
Is the bottom just one big structure?
I would like to do this
And they do it every day
Is that Charles Robinson on the ring?
Is that Charles Robinson, the ref, breaking down the ring?
If I've worked there with another fan, we would've wrestle in the ring before the boss showed up, just like when I was a kid
HHH could never
4:15 Even ref Charles Robinson is helping take down stuff from inside the ring.
That guy been helping out since WCW.
Plot twist. Being a ref is his secondary job.
didn't know charles robinson was part of the ring crew
OG
I feel cheated and violated after watching this.
Hey it was little naitch!!!!
Imma play htis in reverse
Wow based
