All the details are really starting to come together. One thing to consider; continue the louver theme to the ventilation slot location on the side near the fuel filler. Great project!

Loving this project its looking amazing, and a joy to watch!! Being uk based (salt on the roads ) we would but panel bond in the joint before we fold over the edges to seal them and stop any corrosion getting in. Probably a uk corrosion thing not required down under.

hi if you were to add a piece of tubing at the end of your folding die it would capture the riveting tool so it would not slide off and pinch your hand Steve from New Zealand

Well I dont think there will be any issues with exhausting hot air out of the engine bay and it looks good too, nice work again Jordan. Actually the rear end looks very uncluttered atm and is almost is begging for concealed latches with a remote trigger. Cheers Greg

I do hope the cooling fan is big and fast enough-consider the cooling fan that engine was designed for! Of course it helps that the vehicle is already designed for air-cooling

Jordan ..Your a man of many talents...You've just added "Mobile Wind Farm" to your list of achievements..You should now add Workshop Trousers to your line of Clothing..
I'd suggest Chocolate Brown would be the most popular colour ...It would cover all the stains, splits or soiling and more !!! And all this while working on the REAR of the Radial Flyer.
Maybe next Video can be delegated to working on your own rear while sorting out a trouser design !!!

if I recall seeing one of my subcontractor use, was a roller machine. he set a pressure on and rolled it back and forth. took only few passes to close it. It was for a roofing project is metal copings. never did a job like that again, it was too unique of a restoration project in NYC

I would take a rivet set and make the fold over shape in the end of it, so the tool fits in the rivet gun. That will save you from getting pinched.

Roll Pan and Engine lid looking lovely...
Just a thought but we know what you plans is set in concrete but how about cutting them bumpers to stop in line with the roll pan so the beauty of the louvers and the triplet exhaust end pieces can be visible and appreciated much more
    Just my humblest opinion

I have actually had luck using irrigation spaghetti line to get into tight spots and spray rust converter. It’s really thin flexible line for plant irrigation. You can get small mister spray tips that fit in the line. Then hook to a hand pump garden chemical sprayer, put the rust converter in pump it up and spray inside crevices or get the small hose in to places like inside doors etc. insnaked the line all the way inside a frame rail one and slowly pulled and sprayed the entire inside of the boxed frame rail.

I have a pair of roofing tongs (6") with thin rubber coating on the insides of the jaws that I used on copper roofs back when i was working as a Union sheet metal worker to turn hems and flanges so not to knick and/or kink the copper. Same technique though turn a little at a time and it looks great at the finish line. Wish I had a press brake to make louvers. Slick work you're doing! Too bad the boss on the lower panel is hidden by the bumper.

I got confidence from you to tackle all the rust repair on my sons (2yrs old) 68 mustang that i am building in my garage.
What if you made the louvers in that trunk lid panel match the original long louvers on the side? It would tie everything in and give it a custom but factory look?

Hope I’m not being too picky but one more row of louvers. You tell me if there’s room or not.. my grandson Liam was told he could have his dream job. But nothing yet. So yesterday I ran him around all the body and paint shops in the area he has already past two years of college. But it’s tuff for youngsters to get work here at the minute. And you no what they say? Do farts have lumps in them. If not I’ve just sh#^ myself. Take care best wishes. Have you got the little fellow holding a spanner yet. Tim.
