What you are doing is very important the earth is 70% oceans. Not many people understand this. I wish I had a trillion dollars to support your efforts.
@ Tim this isn’t true. Sea Shepherd Global still very much uses direct action to achieve their means. Not every campaign is direct action though as sometimes documenting is the best way to achieve success.

Captain from what I recall & u may concur , a Asian nation speaks with a forked-tongue & they bend rules !! Surely as their trawlers are ordered to kill everything they fish out the sea that then a different set of rules they should apply to them let me elaborate !
As they seem not to care about what they kill then what about sending them a few limnpit mine drones for becoming entangled in their nets which they then will winch these aboard their ships needless to say , upon their trawlers being attacked from within the nets by radio control u effectively could hold them to abiding by strict rules on fishing quota quote unquote !
Hopefully all perpertraitors of illegal fishing they listen or they could potentially be fed to the fish themselves if they don't play-fair..👀💪😲

As whales are still hunted for their meat in some countries, now their principal food supply is snatched away from them. Only less than 15% of the surface of the ocean is discovered while most people do not realize how important this phenomenal ecosystem as it provides all life from oxygen. So, keep up the fight Sea Shepherd. Thanks for all you do.

Thank you so much for bringing light to this issue. I have a question. Perhaps the community here can help me research. Is it possible for Krill to be overfished? In other words, could fishing Krill in this way make a substantial impact on the antarctic wildlife's food source? Or are we far away from that becoming a serious problem?

Watch the video. They talk about the krill industry claiming they are sustainable (but that is based on reduced whale numbers from whaling). Whale numbers are increasing and if they get back to pre-whaling day numbers, there won't be enough krill the feed recovered populations. Also right now the krill industry is not huge in the area, they have a limited number of ships, but they talk about all of that could change and there could be a signficant increase in the number of krill fishing boats which would speed up the strain on this critical food source for whales and much of the ocean ecosystem which relies on krill as the base of the food chain.

A few years back I noticed my local health food shop was selling small plastic pots of Krill, shocked I told the owner he was selling Whale food, as a Vegan animal rights activist I had to boycott the shop, but it shows that companies are targeting health food shops for Krill sales. 🌻🌎✊🏽

Sea Shepard needs to build remote controlled jet skis. On the used market running jet skis can be purchased for a couple hundred bucks each and making them radio controlled. Pack them with 100 to 300 pounds of explosives and ram them right up the slip ways of these vessels or ram them into the hulls of these vessels.
There's so many different things to eat in the world. This should have been stopped by the governments all over the world years ago

I think what you guys do is amazing, but this video you should have specified that it is a contolled fishery with licenses handed out by the South Georgia Government. They have restrictions, observers and once the quota is reached it is shut down. I have servced a lot of these vessels over the years who go through santitation/welfare/fishery checks here in the Falklands before they obtain their lisences
I'd love to see a gigantic pair of scissors cut those nets in half. It's poaching equipment it ideally should be destroyed, or more realistically,rendered inoperable, until it can be disposed of by adjudication. Krill isn't a misplaced concern. Thanks for opening our eyes.
