Sheraton Ka'anapali, Maui - Quick look

- I shot some video of the Sheraton on Ka'anapali Beach, in Maui Hawaii and thought it might be helpful for anyone thinking of staying there. I used the DJI Mavic Pro for the drone shots, and a gopro Hero 5 with a Removu S1 gimbal for the ground shots. All of the ground shots were filmed just after sunrise, and most of the drone footage was during the middle of day.

My wife and I stayed here for 11 nights to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We had such an awesome time. We absolutely loved the resort. We had a cliff room on the top floor with a beautiful view. Highly recommend.
I stayed there in 1998 and it is still as beautiful as ever.
My family just stayed there a few weeks ago. There were ten of us and we had a wonderful time. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. So much to see and do. Close to restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend this place. Great video
September is the best month to go there! The beach-side walk is so wonderful!

Pro tip: Do not fly Delta if you are going to Maui. Oh, and watch out for the chickens as you leave the airport! =)

This is a wonderful video. It looks just as described. I was hoping for a view of a room. It looks lovely. We are planning a trip. Any tips?
Josephine Sautter try to get an upgraded room by the pool....we did and it was great. We liked to walk down to whalers village every night for dinner.... several good restaurants. Monkey pods Mai Tais are awesome. Have a great time!
Yes! We stayed there too, a few years back and we couldn’t get enough of the Monkey Pod Mai Tai’s, so yummy, the best I’ve ever had.
Wow amazing video! Did you have to get local authorization to fly there? I’m staying there this week and wasn’t sure about flying regulations in the area. DJI app says authorized zone and B4UFLY app says need authorization from the airport.
No you dont need authorization.....just find a spot where there isnt any people to take off and land

No not really...just launch it somewhere where there aren't to many people and you should be fine. I've never had an issue flying anywhere in Hawaii (islands).
