- Our trip to Hawaii was amazing! Here, I detail the Hyatt Regency Resort. This is where we spent the first two nights of our trip. There were some positives and negatives that I highlight here. For more information please check the links below.

Wow, that looks incredible! I have never been to Hawaii, but it's definitely on my list.
This was our first stay. Didn’t disappoint. I had heard a lot of complaints about too many tourists in Hawaii recently. However, it was smooth sailing for us. Not busy at all. Keep it on your list for sure. Thanks for watching!

Great western name was perfectly named arena for the area and cause of Gretzky ppl assumed they just called it the great western cause it was out west and Gretzky was the big local star.... but it was named after great western bank

Thanks for the great details on the club. Which tower do you recommend for Globalists in proximity to the Club and the Pool?
The club is near the central area entrance of the pool near the green space shave ice stand and the on site steak house. I can’t remember the name of tower, but if you look at the map, if you’re near the main entrance of the pool you’ll be close the Club. Great location. We took the elevators form the main lobby area to our room. Pretty simple and good location to everything.

Question Brandon, what date of the year is ideal to visit Hyat Maui? I am planning a trip for next year.
Traditionally the best times are around April/May or early fall. We took this trip the first week or so in August. Weather was perfect for 10 straight days. 80 degrees, sunny skies, and a light breeze.

Also how close is the resort to the actual beach is it walking distance ? Don’t need a car
The beach is right next to the pool. There is a sidewalk around the pool area and the beach is right there. Literally next to the pool. If you noticed the shave ice place and those picnic tables; that’s right at the pool about 25 feet from the beach. Great location. Beach is small, but the surrounding scenery is amazing. I forgot to address your other question. No car needed. It’s even closer than walking distance. It’s within stumbling distance. Seriously.
Where did you stay for the other nights on your trip?
Great question. I’ll have a video review out of the second resort in the next week or so. It’s the Hilton Grand Wailea resort. We were there for 8 nights. We had an amazing trip overall. My wife and I are planning to go back by ourself and try another resort just to see what’s out there. Thanks for watching!

Yes. Somewhere in that ballpark. We used points for the trip to cover but cash price was between $500 and $600.
FYI penguins live in the South Pole, not the North Pole.

Hello fellow Kentuckian. Don't love to wear masks and don't look forward to 10 hour plane ride with the mask on. From what I can tell masks are required indoors but not outdoors. Not sure if you noticed people who did not comply with the mask mandate walking through the hotel lobby or not. But just the thought of being in Hawaii with a maxi pad over my face is not that enticing to me.
Key there fellow Kentuckian. Great to hear from you. The plane ride was long. No doubt. Our connection from Denver to Maui was about 6.5 hours. Then of course you have the flight time to get to Denver. Most of the places we visited were open air/outdoor venues so we didn’t really wear the masks much at all. That was just the nature of where we were visiting. One big reason we traveled during this time is that when we were booking, nobody was traveling. The best rates come when folks choose to stay home. We have seen unreal points redemptions and discounts over the last 18 months. It’s been awesome.
