This was one of the first video I watched in terms of car content on CZcams. I used to live in Austin and recognized this video instantly as San Antonio. I always (and still do) thought this car was wicked sounding! Came back to this video just to hear it again!

There is a video on youtube with several vettes leaving the nurburgring in Germany. When I used to live there they looked at corvettes like they were supercars and would surround them and take pictures..They love them!

Anyone dissing the sound of this car is dumb. That is what a high performance GM engine sounds like with upgrades. Raced simii engines in our dirt cars. They sound amazing!

I've got a 2010 zo6 30 thousand miles.grtting up grades done. by Rci performance in huntsville Alabama. big cam. long tube headers new exhaust new intake around 7000 bucks will be tuned on dyno should get hundred more horsepower.these guy are really good hope I'm satisfied.

I kept my black '08 Z06 with chrome wheels until '19, when I traded it in on a white Z06 7-sp. manual. Mistake. The LS7 is the best-sounding engine ever. Now I have a '24 Z51 on order. It'll be nice to have traction.

well no getting the exact speed would be difficult being the car is in a video. But like most people that did post on this they all tend towards the slow side, radical vette but bad driver

That is everyones magic number 10 seconds? With the driver in the video driving I dont see that car turning better than a 12 or 13 second 1/4 mile
hell yes! I ran NT05R's on the back of my '96 Vette, cut my 60 foot times by half a second. Awesome tires. NT05s in the front.

Ok...first off im a hardcore vette fan so i've been through ALOT of Corvette videos on here but this particular vette is by far one of if not the best sounding one i've ever heard hands down..great job man.

It's nice to know there are still kids who recognize real cars. I've been getting really tired of these guys who think everyone's jealous of them just because they dropped a turbo into their little japanese economy car. I don't think I could ever pick up a date in one of those cars without feeling like a total ass-clown (no matter how fast it is). I grew up in a small town... and you just never forget how awesome it was to witness those earth-trembling american muscle cars with rumbling v8's.

very nice clip ! the C6-Z06, after all these years that it's been around now, to me still is THE BEST pure all-out sports car in its price range and way up, i mean, that is one of the many reasons why it is so impressive and spectacular (aside from its performance and what it is capable off straight from the factory floor) it can be head for way under 100K and is fully capable of annihilating the world's finest sports cars that cost WAY OVER a 100K ! some even multiple times the price of it.
Yep !!! had this same model then went to the 2015 Z06 a year later on a killer trade in deal in Ohio, drove it from SC to trade for new Z06 2015, the Boys in Ohio love this 427 !!!! My C6 Z06 trade was sold before I got it there !!!

In the video when I shot the rear exhaust revving, I had no idea it was going to be extremely loud. I had to do a re-take of that shot because I ran off covering my ears. How are the meets in Tampa, FL? :)

I drove my Z/28 in high school.... I graduated last year.... My friends drove muscle cars too. One had a 5.0 foxbody and the other had a 72 Nova. Don't lose faith lol, I havent.

So wanted a C6Z06 when i was buying my Corvette! Dont get me wrong I love (LOVE!!!!!!) my C7 z51 stingray! But that 7.0L LS7 is a beast of a motor and probably the last big displacement ICE Chevy will ever produce. That right there is reason enough to want one. But then you hear the BigBlock's chop at idle, see the huge road tattoos it can leave , and then you can take it out for a evening on the town with the wife, cause you arent totally broke cause of car payments ? Just about sums up the perfect sportscar to me ! Thats why the CORVETTE is the best bang for the buck as far as performance cars go !!
Plus its a American legend and just sexy as hell ! My last three cars before my C7 were a BMW M2 , a EVO-10 and a Nissan 350Z. None of those would make me look back at it in awe like the Vette does every time i drive it. The Z was fun but lack power and quality in general. The M2 was a blast to drive , but was sketchy at times with how it would snap into oversteer unpredictably at times The EVO was quick as hell ,but I feared the what if's in it and when it happens ! Cause I knew if I wrecked it ,the crash was going to be huge and its a tin box with 4 doors. It was great at showing you the limits and well past them a bit too. But IF I had a wreck at the speeds it was able to go on the backroads around my home ?It wasn't going to be pretty !! Seeing I'd really rather not make my wife a widow, the EVO had to go !! The vette is predictable, gets lots of 👀's & 👍, and has a full frame that gives me a better sense of security. The wife loves going for drives in it too unlike the M2 or EVO with their pops bangs and whistles from their turbos and blow off valves ! Guess its true ,"There's no replacement for displacement" !! Plus as a bonus , the Top comes off the C7 for those beautiful summer days and it adds to the visceral experience hearing that roar of a 🇺🇸V8 and smelling all thst rubber you leave behind !! 😂 🏎__________________💨!!!!!

i've never understood why people love to upgrade the Z06/ZR1 exhaust kits. they are so well built and designed, you get the best of both worlds! quite when your just drivin around, and you get the noise when you really want it!!
don't get me wrong, this car sounds incredible. but i've riden in a blown Z06 with a upgraded cam and exhaust like this one.. riding in that car for almost 2 hours all the way to Woodward last year almost drove me crazy! too loud, for far too long..

2002 ZO6 with a stage II blower cam, magnusun supercharger and a stage III water meth kit. It has 2 in. primary tube headers also and a tune.
