I really am the fan of sirens but this ACA p-50 ASC T-135 because of the healthy voice of this siren I love it and I love sirens too but this one is my favorite one in the world
I think that therotator was running of the current of the motor winding down, as when motors are spun without electricity,it generates the stuff. Also, the rotation got slower as the siren wound down. I wonder what is making it do this.
I researched on Wikipedia that this sirens like this was built in 1992 and it continued. Whenever they are new they will always have ASC blue stickers on it.
Wrong the Chysler bell victory siren is louder than this at 100 ft the Chrysler victory sirens decibels is 135 the P-50 is only at 100 ft 130 Decibels and also one Chrysler victory siren can be heard up to 25 miles away its V 8 110 hp motor and six horns can make it sound from that far away not to mention the victory siren was ment to be mobile so they came with trailers and the local EMA can go up a hill and sound it off the sirens of course were able to be mounted on roofs and towers.
It's because ASCs control panels take a while to shut off the blower controls so it spins until the sirens receive the cancel signal which can take a few minutes
+Paul Spomer nope. Sorry, Paul, but I'm correct this time:). MOST places in Illinois do first Tuesday at 10:00, but there are some places like Tinley Park that do other times.
Someone please tell me, is this siren actually getting replaced? Now don't joke around, I need answers! Is it true that this P-50 is getting replaced? I heard this from someone else and I really hope they're joking. So, does anyone know? Are they f***ing with me? 😵
Nicholas Weasel ugh this is a ACA penetrator 50 the loudest warning siren in the us it's activated for severe weather such as tornados bad storms and or blizzards
Actually, it's the other way around. ACA made the P-50, but after ACA got bought out, ASC continued the P-50 for a bit and renamed it T-135AC. However, I'm still calling it a P-50. I don't care where it's from. 🫡
love the shutdown 1:02
Better than the T-135AC DC (just a fat T-128) such a lovely beast
That was the world's best tornado sign and shut down❤❤❤❤❤😘😘🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻🥰😍😍😍😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Well It Was healthy but the rotator is broken.
That's like me when I'm woken up at 4:00 am I just roar like the T-135AC
what if the p50 wakes u up at 4am?
this siren that I watched was very smart every siren is very smart like the ACA Allertor is very smart as the ACA p-50
Saw this one from the highway this past weekend while I was driving up to Tomahawk for the 4th. Very nice video btw.
That is a fast rotation, tbh i LOVE ACA's alot!
My dad and I were chilling out near this exact same siren when it went off, it was the first time i ever saw him jump out of his seat.
This is a Asc t-135 because it when it activated it sounds very different
listening to the asc t-128s and then coming to listen to the p50. this thing is a dinosaur!
I think this is a proper place for a wind scooper like this
A wood pole is way too unsecure for Germanys standards
I like how it keeps rotating when it winds down!
ChicagoSirens that signifies that this is an ASC t135.

Dang those are huge
That has a very interesting mounting.
A great way to wake up my neighbors😂
when its time to go back to school
The startup reminds me of the opening of The Final Countdown
Ah, what a beast.
i hope a new ASC t-135 takes over when this siren goes
I researched on Wikipedia that this sirens like this was built in 1992 and it continued. Whenever they are new they will always have ASC blue stickers on it.
I meant these. You'll find it continues rotating when it winds down, and It doesn't stop during attack
Tyler Copeland hopefully it doesn't go because these things are awesome and loud.
It was installed in 97 though...
it's huge
Question: Is it really that big, or does it just look big since the camera is zoomed in?
Is this the Early model (ACA P50), or the late model (ASC T-135)? Edit: I figured out that this is the late model (ASC T-135)
Wow u were very very close especially considering this was one of the loudest mechanical sirens ever made.
Actually If You see my video of it I was right about under Neath it.
its a p-50! a p-50 is the one and only loudest siren ever invented, the only sirenn that sounds like a p-50 is a ACA cyclone
Actually correction the Chysler bell victory siren can reach from anywhere between 25-28 miles away.
That is a T135 b3cause it rotates for 30 secs after shutdown, the aca p50 doesnt
Why it doesn't have a wooden Pole🤨❓️
That's an interesting mount there!
Did you have hearing protection?
I noticed that this p-50 continues to spin after the siren shuts off. We have p-50s in Kenosha county but they don't continue to spin around
They all tend to do exactly like the one in the video
It's because ASCs control panels take a while to shut off the blower controls so it spins until the sirens receive the cancel signal which can take a few minutes
unless it's a thunderbolt or a hurricane, it doesn't have a blower. the chopper blades do that job well.
Jamskater2014 The reason why it continues to spin is because it is an ASC T-135.
I love aca's even this one the simplex acap50
They’re pretty much the same
Why does this siren test differently than other Wisconsin sirens? doesn't Wisconsin have a Whole-State testing time like Minnesota?
when does Hudson Test?
+ACAPenetrator50 there are some areas in Illinois that don't do first Tuesday at 10:00
BOB!theGMObanana All of Illinois tests at the same time, its called a whole state testing time :)
+Paul Spomer nope. Sorry, Paul, but I'm correct this time:). MOST places in Illinois do first Tuesday at 10:00, but there are some places like Tinley Park that do other times.
Paul Spomer
Rd location name?

I heard this is one of the loudest sirens in the world
the second loudest one in the world (and the loudest is powered by a Chrysler hemi)
Yes loudest one in service
@@RT42069 its not the second one
and it's a p 50
Curt Bach actually it is a t135 because of the ASC logo on the back and it did not immediately stop rotating at wind down.
I live 15 min away from there
Long wind up
most p-50's wind up like the one in this video. Some wind up really fast, like the one in grand ridge, illinois, which took about a second to wind up.
Too loud huh
It's mounted on a tower!
89Q Tower 89Q WIFI.
I am TERRIFIED of sirens
1:04 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
is ASC & ACA the same maker or do they work in partnership ?
Ábbéy Máddóx ASC used to be ACA, but in 1992 they went bankrupt and became ASC
Greenfield1003 ah thx just wondered
Ábbéy Máddóx they are the same, but they changed their name.
luv it
it's like a regular siren
like a regular siren on steroids
This is reverse wired
I noticed that
That is mega loud
P50s are twice as tall as an average adult man
+Creeperboy yea there are old pictures of people standing in the cone of these sirens
No. You can only fit one person at best from top to bottom.
I'd hate to have it go off while I'm standing in there. Permanent deafness
hola shit
An a Tsunami warning siren
This is used for Tornadoes
This is used for Tornadoes
lol
Nicholas Weasel ugh this is a ACA penetrator 50 the loudest warning siren in the us it's activated for severe weather such as tornados bad storms and or blizzards
@Russtraviaball i forogot i even left this comment. thats wild
I hate ACA cause stealing ASC siren model
