This is the observation results that I found in the Netflix show & I didn't read the original book series. All of you are welcome to agree and/or disagree with me: Also, I'm not white but still a straight man don't let my alias confuse you. The difference between Eloise and Violet is that Violet leans more on her agency with actual skill set (she actually invested a healthy amount of interest to education available for women as the minimum and using her wits) in this scene where she actually uses her wits to win the debate between her and her mother which cements herself as a moderate feminist in her own right. Meanwhile, Eloise is portrayed in the show that leans on nagging about institution biases against women (i.e. women can't pursue higher education - university, etc.) without actual substance. We never actually saw Eloise outperform a man in any kind of men-dominated field as opposed to Kate Sharma - Bridgerton because Kate can outperformed Anthony Bridgerton in managing the estates, for the Sharmas and the Bridgertons, horseback riding, derby bettings, and actual wits. There's also the fact that Eloise abhors traditional feminine sensibilities and dismissive of anyone that genuinely enjoys it and the perfect examples are that (1) Eloise dismissed Penelope's hopes and dreams in having a family of her own when Penelope's still haven't had her story with Colin. (2) Nevertheless, Eloise feigns genuine interest to the other single ladies of the ton even if she attempts to socialize and befriend them (with the exception of Cressida Cowper in the beginning) because their hobbies are too feminine for her liking. The only thing that can change my mind about Eloise is an actual character skills development that is similar to Kate Bridgerton's level, which is an entirely different story because when the time comes that it's Eloise's turn to fall in love, I think that the primary focus will only be on the love story itself, while her feminist ideals and aspirations will be nothing more than a footnote to her character description.
Cause this clip is from the spin off and it wasn't there from the beginning, and when it came Eloise was already established as a rebel, and even now not every Bridgerton fan has seen it.
I want a spin off of her and Edmund so bad. Just one season. Could be called The Viscountess: A Bridgerton Story, or Violet and Edmund: A Bridgerton Story.
They should. They should have short series in between the longer Bridgerton seasons to tie people over. They should have released one next year for either Violet or Lady Danbury and even though Lady Featherington had no great love story, it would be nice to see a younger her too since she's my favorite character in the show.
Violet is the perfect combination of all her children, especially her daughters. Daphne with her being family centered, Eloise with her beliefs, Francesca with their counting ( a bit like Lucy too actually) amd Hyacinth with her cunningness and tendency to exavt revenge (also like Gregory!) She also had a similar friendship with another girl ( I forgot her name) during her season like Eloise and Pen did. They were both wallflowers and clung to the wall
She's Eloise, mostly ( in fact, when I first watched the saw, I was like "Eloise, please, out from your mother's body!"), then as time passed I noticed that she also had a smidge of Hyacinth, her attitude to be precise.

Even before Queen Charlotte I knew Eloise and Pen take after their mother's the most.
All the bridgertons have intelligence, pride, and bravery.
But she isn't Daphne to me, this is Eloise and Colin!
