My brain just broke. Not a magician but can follow the false cuts, faro shuffle, etc and feel like I knew what was going on... right up until the color change. Re-watched a few times and have no idea. So well done!

The new setup looks really nice, and I'm positively surprised by the credits you gave (with links in the descriptions) that gave you the inspiration for the setup or something little as the dices. It's not really a given anymore that content creators on youtube will give someone credits or link anything, because everyone wants to come of as "unique", "it's my idea only, I came up with everything" or "I don't want you to look up the source, because you might won't watch my video anymore" so thank you for the honesty, keep it up love your work!
Thanks man! I always give super detailed crediting for any magic I do in the descriptions and in the pinned comment as well. Of course I’ll miss some reference from time to time, but I do my utmost to get the history correct since I want to a) honor the creator(s) and b) make it so people can find the source material if they want to learn more. The truth is that pretty much nothing is totally “original” these days, everything is just an iteration on a previous idea, whether or not we know it.

If you're dealing with Faros, it's not just about the shuffling... As always, your videos are a great inspiration. I love they way of your thinking, how to make a story your own and how to tell it in a convincing way, looking at concepts and putting them from top to bottom... or vice versa... and being always a few steps ahead. And also a nice new setup.

Hey Daniel, the first time I saw the double faro thing at the start was when Jason from cardmagicbyjason did it, and since then I actually did something of it on my own
Where I stack the Aces for me, but also every other player gets face cards from the Jack to King. And it's a dramatic turnover
I'm pretty much sure someone has done it before me in some book but it's actually kinda fun to figure things out yourself

hey man, i really like your new setup. I just think you should've kept the old one. The background is kinda distracting. One of the things I liked the most about the old setup was that it felt like it was nowhere inside any place. It could belong everywhere, and felt a little foreign. It had a serious tone. Still improvements are always welcome, and if you are happy, i am happy for you.
Discovered your channel recently! I'm also new to youtube and your words about mean comments hit home with me. It is very easy for us to say "don't let it bother you" but it does, and they real. Thanks for shedding light on that you're a true master at your craft! Can I ask what camera and lens you used for this shot? I'd love to get that same look

Suggestion. You should do street magic to strangers. That would be cool
Daniel, do you know that setting the lets say top four aces with two faros as for the four hand comming all ton you, can be used also as texas hold em example?
Same shuffling will in four players hand get you two of the aces, third will fall as third card on flop and last one as the river.
Ofc, you must burn cards as in real game
Thats quite impressive semi pseudo gambling cheating performance, when you put the four aces to control them on top and just with two faros you get this.
Pretgty easy to do nice example of putting the cards in different places and mixing them to get this.
I think its more impressive looking than example with dealing four hands in normal poker.
Especially because the dealing is fair and square, and the last one comes on river.
Just to mention it for the ppl that don t know this, I never saw somebody using it this way, everybody shows dealing four hands normally.
It rings a bell, but it’s been a while since I’ve thought about this kind of thing...really cool!
@@DanielRoyMagic I didnt mention at all about roots of it because I found it by myself. Ofc somebody came to it also before, it aint some great out of the box idea after all.
But I deidnt see it used actually, perhaps never. Everybody allways do it in classic deal four hands.
But I really think its MUCH better to use it in texas hold em performance. First it is mmuch more impressive looking since the very flop-turn-river thing and with burning card in between lgives impression its much harder to stack it than the classic poker hand. And its exactly the same actually.
On top of that, the turn being random card, and the fourth ace coming on river also gives the impression by itself.
And, not to mention the texas hold em popularity, I think it tickles the imagination of ppl much more as possibillity of cheating to take money, since rarely ppl of today see classic poker being played and used in gambling, whereas hold em is played from casinos, on TV, online to home games with your friends.
If you ever use this ppl, I really advice to try to use this approach for everybody.
@@igorsvacic217 Of course Daniel, as he has shown time and again, can second deal (and bottom deal -- and center deal -- but let's stick with second). So he can deal himself quad aces in holdem however he likes. He can do what you suggested, or put the second two aces in the flop, put the second ace on the turn, or put the two aces on the turn and river. Actually I would imagine the last combo is most useful since you might be able to draw someone into being pot-committed and then you have them dead to rights. That is -- he *could* do that *if* he played poker, but as he has mentioned several times (perhaps all of them in the live stream I don't recall), he doesn't. Smart move. Good way to wind up in the hospital (I would think).

I just suggested a thing if he didnt know, a tip, didnt asked nothing in return, and I wrote it because I think its a good tip to all magicians here.
I never spoke about using this in gambling, whos that stupid iat all to think faros would pass in real cheating? Esopecially in the hand faros? If you ceated ofc youd put two aces on the bottom and deal them thats it. No need for nothing further.
Im talking about MAGIC, a pseudo cheating techniques and demonstrations and leaving impressions on audience, and explained why this is better choice since you can chooase, since iyou can go either way once you set up the deck.
And the dealing is fair, no seconds, no bottoms, everythink is fair.
And talked about gambling ONLY because the same exact reasons why magicians do gambling demonstrations in the first place: because they leave audience with impression of high skill, and allways tickle their mind as a possibillity for cheating and making money
