The money on gift cards is actually in a bank account, and most states have laws that say that after a certain period of time the money in that bank account goes to the government, I remember Chris Christie was widely criticized when he signed a law shortening the period after which any money in the bank goes to the state of New Jersey.. ..I can't think of a bigger waste f money than giving it to the government

The Bible says we are to esteem others as better than ourselves. I believe we should start from a position of respect always . Respect can be lost . When people say I have to earn your respect I wonder why? Who are you that you think that because that assumes from the beginning that you consider yourself worthy of respect

Everyone should expect cordiality from another unless you demonstrate that you don't deserve it. Respect is an even higher tier than cordiality, and you must earn it.
Respect to the lady. You don't have to be religious to believe in normality (all respect to those who want to follow their said religion). But, this freak show nonsense going on is _not_ religion and something massively wrong and evil.
Ironically, it is the nations which are post-Christian in which these aniti-reality gender bending movements are strongest.Atheistic nations, like China, see it all as subversive snd dangerous, and of course Islamic nations will not tolerate it, nor will India, which is pagan/Hindu/Buddhist. You know the more I think about it, the angrier I get about destroying those gift cards. How is it moral to deliberately waste money in an era of record high inflation when many people can't afford groceries?
Buying the gift card was the giving the money to Target. If you don’t redeem the card it is a gift to them in full. If you do redeem the card they get only the markup and the credit card fees etc.

By shredding Target gift cards that are already paid for and the company has already received money for them is only helping them and not hurting them .They would be laughing at the whole idea of what just happened and would wish everyone would do such stupid things like sending them a check and telling them to keep the money for nothing and no service or product .
Amazon has been the absolute hardest. I’ll admit that I haven’t even tried with them, whereas other companies I do make a conscientious effort to avoid. The convenience has me 😮😥

I don't think Christians should curse or use any language that's questionable. Also drinking and watching shows that are full of sinfulness. Am I a prude? I sure didn't used to be but if we are to live in a Christ-like manner, we need to behave in a way unlike the world. Just my humble opinion...
I like the Christian worldview. It is a wholesome, if self-serving and persistent little fantasy. Multiple Gods went out of style so long ago, and now as we cling smugly to the last remaining vestige of supernatural deity worship, it is refreshing to know that in several thousand years that this last god/demiurge holdout will also be relegated to confirmed mythology. Until then it will be generation after generation of theotainment. We are a good species, just still so immature.

If you drop Target because of something they sell, then still use Amazon, who sells the same thing. I guess I'm confused. I feel like we can't shop anywhere anymore, we can't even buy food if we are opposed to a place because of their views, how they act or what they sell, because the grocery stores are all doing things that are bad too. Farmers markets maybe? that would get us through part of the grocery shopping, maybe there is a whole untapped set of stores I don't even know about I could buy things from to eat...
Be frigging practical and get what you need from where you can get it, even better at a good price and convenient. This kind of stuff is nonsense. If everything and everyone we purchased products and services from had to be perfect we'd be dead. Even cave people were interdependent within their own tribes. And the minute their quality of life and chances of survival could improve through trade and cooperating with other tribes, they did. Unless they were really stupid and died sooner than they had to.
I agree with you, but I think that Target promotes LGBTQ+ more aggressively than most stores. I’ve heard that some Target store have more pride products for children than for adults. The grocery store that I shop most frequently had a reusable pride bag that they kept lowering the price but and ultimately could not sell.
Movies, tv and music are designed to bypass the rational mind and appeal to emotion. Therefore a person has to be very careful as what they watch and listen to. Classical music is calculated to uplift the emotion to spiritual levels. Most modern music is designed to appeal to the base physical instincts of people..the lowest level of interaction between people.
