I think i would use a rotary mower for a few mows, with a bagger. I want a real mower so bad i can teast it. But I want to get the yard smooth and consistent first.

Yeah I started with rotary before reel mowing. Surprisingly the lawn can look good with rotary too once you sand level. Then switching to reel mower just makes it even better 👍

Def raise HOC the first mow. Work your way back down. That’ll help with keeping sand away from the cutting surface. And with giving you the bet shot with rocks.

Yep that initial .800” looked to work for me 👍

I add dithiopyr to my sedgehammer when I spray nutsedge in Hope's of getting the new nutlets that haven't begun. Seems to help with the battle

@@williamjonson6845 I been looking into Sulfentrazone 4SC Select. Apparently some people have been applying it with Prodiamine early season and get a good 2-3 month residual. Less sedges have appeared for them.

@@MyLawnStory I used Sulfentrazone. Much faster as well. Just wanted to try sedgehammer as well.

I’ve used Sedgehammer in the past, from my experience it works the same as Certainty.
