Can't really get the tail design. It can be hard to clean the inside of the hollow section of its tail when it gets dirty and dust-covered. The same goes for the r6 and r7.

Scared me a little bit at 5:41... PHEW
Took this model for a good test ride a week ago. Quick and nibble but the bike hasn’t evolved enough like some of its competition. Stock brakes still have that wooden feel and are still poor compared to other superbikes. Dash screen is small, pixelated and looks dated. CP4 engine doesn’t stand out with stock exhaust either. Clearly Yamaha have slowly based the evolution of this bike on being purely track ridden since the ‘big bang’ 2013 version. No doubt its a different and very capable animal on the track with its high pegs and low narrow clip ons. It’s just not practical in any way for the streets nowadays, which is a shame considering it revolutionised its class with the introduction to the market of the CP4 engine back in 2009.
