Malay roof have many style, in this video, it was 'Bumbung Limas Potong', with finial spiral gable called 'Tunjuk langit/Tuju Langit' , others type of roof is 'Bumbung Lipat Kajang', more popular in Melaka, Johor, Singapore[before 1970s], Riau archipelago, Jambi and Riau province in Sumatra. Bumbung limasan/Perambung Lima or Hip roof, Meru/Pyramidal or Tajug[Most used in Mosque or temple], Pisang sesikat, belah bumbung and 'Bumbung Pemeles'[unique in East coast of Peninsular Malaysia and Southernmost Thailand province of Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat]. Balai Besar Melayu and Balai Adat Melayu are example of Malay traditional architecture for community hall, throne hall, audience hall and gathering hall.
