I once had a student called Alison (can't remember if it was Alison or Alisson).
She was like a crab hooked on my leg. Always clinging to my side, laughing at my silly dad jokes and pouting whenever I lectured her on her bad behavior in classes like Math and Science, where teachers had little patience with her.
She had this liberating aura and quite contagious, too. Carefree (careless at times), cheerful, giggly, always looking to make some trouble. You know, like most children; she was also kinda damaged: divorced (fragmented) family, stepdad didn't care about her much; she never expressed it overtly but I guess she saw a father figure in me and quietly fed on my attention, like most girls do with their fathers.. idk most likely it's that. This song has a little bit of that aura going; that, or it's me projecting my experiences in the song. Either way it works.
