Dr Michael Heiser is an excellent resource. He discover that the idea that we are born spiritually dead does not square with Romans 7. We each individually are born spiritually alive. All of us are born naked and have no shame walking about as our first parents until we individually fall into transgression of the Law. Otherwise sir I generally agree with you. Warren Mcgrew of idol killer is an excellent resource on this issue as well. Scott M. Peck ("People of the lie", Jordan Peterson, and C.S. Lewis are among the greatest thinkers of the last few centuries, they, along with Neil t. Anderson have helped me overcome many lies of the devil and his hosts.

Dear mr. Anderson, I respect and love you in the Lord. I have been reading your material and listening to you on CZcams for the past eight months now. I figured you had to have known everything Michael Heiser has written about because of your beautiful, clear and simple yet accurate application of our spiritual battle and your understanding of the unseen realm, I simply assumed that you had read mr.heiser's. I credit you both with opening my eyes to the spiritual realm and the Lord working through you both to give me a much more spiritual worldview. I am excited for and what I will learn from you as you progress in your journey in serving the Lord.
    Good bless you!

    Hi Neil,
My husband and I have 3 of your books and recently helped a fellow believer with deliverence via walking her through “Steps to Freedom in Christ”. It is a very thorough and helpful tool.
We also listen to your latest CZcams videos. We also learned from Derek Prince and Jim Logan. We believe we are called to deliverance ministry and have 3 times now without trying to (it either just happened when praying for someone about something else, and with the lady, we read your book with -she called and asked us to help her).
Anyways, I just started listening to the second video from you today and found something I believe is in err.
The video was a Sunday sermon you gave & was labelled “deception”.
In the video you share a story about a man who told you of someone who said God told them a message to give to the man. You responded by saying we all have the Holy Spirit as our direct interceder and therefore anyone sharing a message from God with another is a “medium”. You further went on to say that whenever folks come up to you and say that God told them a message for you that you will instantly reject it as false.
In this very video (#37) you talk about digging deep to understand the whole Word including understanding the meaning of Elohim. I like that you use the Bible in context and seem to know the Word. My husband and I are very cautious about listening to folks who use it out of context.
I believe your outright rejection of prophesy from others and teaching others to do the same is unfortunate and unbiblical.
According to the Bible God will speak to us in many ways; through that still small voice within, through circumstances, through nature or a song, through highlighting certain verses or messages to us, through dreams and visions, through nature and through other people and even once through a donkey. There is biblical evidence for every one of these. We should not limit God to how we decide He should talk to us. He is great and He moves in different ways. Of course, every message received (whatever the way) must be tested to ensure it lines up with scripture and is not false. And if not, then rejected.
Please consider the following verses that do not fit into your perspective of the ways God communicates with us.
“Now this man had four virgin daughters who were prophetesses. As we were staying there for some days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. And coming to us, he took Paul’s belt and bound his own feet and hands, and said, “This is what the Holy Spirit says: ‘In this way the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’” Acts 21:9-11 (HCSB version) (These were 4 prophetess daughters, it is not logical to think this was their only future knowledge message given. They were already known as prophetess which means they would have given words before. Paul did not say “no I don’t want to hear because God wouldn’t give you knowledge for me because God will tell me everything I need to know directly to me-you are just mediums or deceived).
Now at this time some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. One of them named Agabus stood up and began to indicate by the Spirit that there would certainly be a great famine all over the world. And this took place in the reign of Claudius. “And in the proportion that any of the disciples had means, each of them determined to send a contribution for the relief of the brethren living in Judea. And this they did, sending it in charge of Barnabas and Saul to the elders.” Acts 11:27-28 (Here Agabus gives a prophetic word about a famine soon to come. It was given to him to have the brethren prepare relieved ahead of time to a fellow church in Judea. This prophesy was not to write the Bible, it was future info given by God to provide relief for a soon to come famine. This is the same way God moves in the OT-He gave knowledge of the future to prophets in the OT and still did so in the NT. He is the same God.)
“Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and the Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” And the Lord said to him, “Get up and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying, and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him, so that he might regain his sight.” But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he did to Your saints at Jerusalem; and here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name.” But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name’s sake.” Acts 9:10-16 (Jesus ALREADY appeared to Paul Himself, and now Paul is praying to the Lord yet God answers through another person via a vision.)
“I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet...” Revelation 1:10 (Revelation-John the Revelator has a vision. He is given a Word for ALL his of us -both the churches are f that time and into the future. God used visions in the OT and He continued to use them in the NT. It is one of the ways He communicates to us.)
“But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking in tongues, what will I profit you unless I speak to you either by way of revelation or of knowledge or of prophecy or of teaching?” 1 Cor 14:6 (God gave people in the congregation messages to share with that particular body of believers -so corporately for others).
“It will come about after this
    That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind;
And your sons and daughters will prophesy,
Your old men will dream dreams,
Your young men will see visions.
“Even on the male and female servants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”
Joel 2:28-29 (If God stopped speaking via prophets, dreams and visions than why is this happening in the past days?)
OT-there are so many examples of God prophesying through individuals, for individuals, to nations and to the prophet him/herself. And many instances where the Bible states a person was a “prophet” without the Bible mentioning any of their prophesies (evidence that prophesy was not just used as stories to include in the Bible). Example is Miriam (Exodus 15:20). There are several biblical evidences even of God given words to pagans (Genesis 41, Daniel 5:5, Judges 7:13, Daniel 2, Genesis 40). God in both the OT and NT spoke through dreams, visions, prophets to give a message to the individual, to another, to a nation and to people groups).
I came from a Brethren church and was taught prophesy doesn’t happen (at least not about the future). My church was very biblically based but like all churches chooses to ignore portions of the Bible they don’t like. If we are biblically based we need to be willing to not follow man’s organization of Christianity but search and study the Bible and use it in context. I have now been part of hyper noncharismatic to hyper charismatic churches, and I have heard truth and non-truth at each one. I have learned many don’t really know their bibles which is sad. We mustn’t limit God based on what we comprehend and must be willing to study His whole Word to learn His ways, His character and His plans for us. But He is also a relational God. Just as evidenced in the OT and NT He shows us that He personally speaks to us through many ways-always has. The first of the Ten Commandments states that we must not make God unto our own image-He is the “I Am”. He is who He is and not what makes us comfortable or what we comprehend. The Bible reveals who He is and how He relates to us-and not just the sections of scripture that we agree with.
I pray the Lord opens your eyes to see and embrace God however He chooses to talk to you even if through another.
    Blessings brother.

What I don’t understand is why the church today is not concerned about freemasonry. I know, because for generations back my history was heavily involved in freemasonry who I am quite aware is a cover for the Occult. I was satanically ritually abused and at the age of 70, today I’m still dealing with the trauma from this, even as a committed Christian. I am greatly saddened that the church of today never seem to focus on the deception of the evil one. I know of a church that was gradually taken over by the freemasons, who were accepted as members. That church today is a Masonic Temple. When I talk to other Christians about this I am truly shocked at their complacency, their lack of use of discernment of evil, it’s almost as if they don’t want to hear or to believe or they don’t want to rock the boat.
Thank you so much Neil Anderson for your teachings, I only wish there were more of you so that’s the world we get the wake up call it needs.

They are under a great delusion. To acknowledge these awkward truths would turn their world upside down, but that is exactly what is going to happen when the one with the flaming sword comes to redeem his creation

    • @ph513
      @ph513 Před 3 lety +1

@@jamesmason8944 true enough. Christians need to remember that spiritual warfare never takes a break. If you’re not a threat to Satan, you’re not close enough with God. My eyes were opened because of my experience with being exposed and damaged by evil first hand. Satan’s success’s depend on him keeping his work hidden so I understand why so many people seem so blinded to this (not making excuses for them). BUT GOD said in Genesis‬ ‭50:20‬ ‭ “You planned evil against me; God planned it for good to bring about the present result - the survival of many people.” - I am one of them 🙌🏻.
‭‭Christ has already provided us with the final victory over Satan. God is in control, I need to praise Him, obey and pray for and trust His leading. My plan would be an unleashed scream to the world about the unspeakable evil that was done to me but this is not about me and how bad I want revenge - it’s all about trusting God because His plan is perfect. Keep praying brother James! 🙌🏻🙏🏻

Hello thank you so much for your videos and books! I’m reading the bondage breaker as we speak so I was curious if you had a CZcams channel. I haven’t even finished the book yet and my mind is already quieter! I usually walk on eggshells with myself DAILY and when I actually am at peace I’m secretly in fear of the judgmental & accusing voices coming back to attack me. It’s my own voice so I get so closely associated with it that I struggle choosing to believe that those thoughts aren’t true or “me” ! Anyway, just wanted to say thanks! I also had one more question, I am in recovery and was saved 4 years ago by Jesus and haven’t turned back since! But I got involved with narcotics anonymous and AA for the first few years and was so confused bc I see ppl experiencing freedom from drugs and I’m like how could this be a bad thing or demonic?? And I’m realizing now that maybe they are free from drugs but their souls aren’t saved? I’ve always been super confused about this. I left the program bc they just don’t accept Jesus as God and my spirit just isn’t ok with that! So just wondered if u had any thoughts about these particular programs

The spiritual is already so acknowledged in todays culture i think in the same vein of germs etc. that u touched upon the Truth will become increasingly blatant as prevalent & active towards the end that man will have no excuse regarding ignorance to Gods existence. But also witnessing all these deceptions i would assume the same for the orchestrated lies as well(evolution/new age, etc.) Its a type of battle that accelerates towards its finality in my opinion.

I never heard Satan called elohim... where is that please, so we may check for ourselves... weird stuff. Isn't that what he wants most of all? That we would worship him instead of the One true God?
Also the "sons of the evil one", is that true? Because reading the gospels, especially Mt 13:41, Jesus doesn't talk about "fallen angels posing like Christians" in the church. He talks about people who willingly choose to do evil deeds, thereby deliberately choosing their camp.

    • @lsteve4

In Hebrew, Elohim actually means a spirit being. I always thought Elohim was one of God's names but it's not. Elohim is a classification of being. All spirit beings are elohim but only one elohim is God!

I am trying to understand the meaning of the word "divine counsel" if somebody can break it down for me? I guess the sons of God are divine to a certain extent because of their limited power. Are we saying that God seeks counsel from these divine beings? And I thought elohim that was mentioned in Psalm 82 was only referring to the human judges at that time? I am so confused. In a way I think that God himself is talking to themselves, i.e the trinity. But then again John 10:34 Jesus is pointing to the human judges.
