What a wonderful realization, when GOD is all you have, you discover that GOD is all you need. It's the most wonderful realization. My best moment with GOD was during my absolute lowest point in this life.

Often God has to use a crisis to bring us back to Him. The distractions and pride of life have kept us alienated from Him that it is time for us to deny self and return to Him.
Spurgeon said: “I kiss the waves that crashes me into the Rock of Ages.” I’ve been stripped and disciplined. Whom the Lord loves he chasten. Thank you Jesus.
I recently found your channel and boy what a blessing! I KNOW it was God!!! I feel like another person and am reading your book "The Bondage Breaker". Just like you God stripped me of everything BUT my family and I do mean everything. This intense process has lasted 8 looooong years (I guess I am a slow learner or had an awful lot of junk to process). But I feel like Father is saying it is time to come out of the wilderness praise God. Thanking Him for your ministry!
Amen, I'm basically right where you are. I've been in bondage to marijuana for 5+ years now, and have wondered too if I was just a slow learner or something at my inability to find my identity in Christ. So much trying on my own effort and sleepless nights seeking God only to be rattled with my own thoughts and anxieties that tell me I'll never find God - that I've tried so many times but I still haven't found Him.
But only now do I see how much our thoughts can become the "highway" of the spiritual realm, with differing voices at every corner but only one voice filled with Truth. This realization has just "clicked" for me, although I still find myself struggling with loneliness (have 0 friends, live alone).
Sometimes the reality of this spiritual realm we inhabit causes me to pause throughout my day just make sure the Lord's Spirit is protecting me.

Dear Dr. Neil Anderson.. GOD bless you my brother for all the work you put in for the saints of GOD.. sorry for my ignorance but, could you please help me.. Could you give me details on what “ picking up my cross should look like” What must I do ? I have been a Christian for about 15 yrs now.. I am not sure if other Christian think you should already know or maybe I’m supposed to pick it up through osmosis as I go to church. Lol
