Why revenge? It's sports man, fair play, not a war. Maria did nothing wrong in winning Wimbledon, just as did not Venus or for that matter anyone who achieved that much. All these people are great champions and deserve our respect.

Maria and Venus both suffered from late growth spurts. It hurt their games in both cases, compared to earlier. Maria's serve in 2004 was a lot more effective. I think Venus had much better strokes when she was younger and a touch shorter. All that opened the door for Serena to become the most dominant player, which might have happened anyway.
