Really good materials you have here. Thank you. Always been wondering how to properly capture audio at events.
Thank you for creating a meeting room set up demo. I like the graphic showing your equipment set up it adds to your video. Can I offer one suggestion for your graphics, if you make the aspect Ratio of the graphic 16x9 (easiest to do before you make the graphic but can be changed afterwards too) It will fill your CZcams screen and give you more screen real estate to work with and looks better than black bars on the side. I am enjoying going through your videos this morning keep up the good work.
Hey thanks for the nice comment and suggestion. I made this video a while ago and I can’t quite remember why I made the graphic like that haha appreciate the encouragement :)
This was great, thank you!
Very helpful
Just wanted to know which one is better BMD Intensity USB or Avermedia
Hi, would you consider it worthwhile using the Timecode UltraSync for an event like this? How many separate cameras + recording devices would you say you needed to make a timestamp device worthwhile in the edit suite?
Would you want to use the timecode device to sync them in post? Personally I would just use the auto-sync feature of many editing software suites.
Hi Thank you for all your videos, I think I have watched every single one. I'm running a Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio Pro HD. (the hardware version) - When I bring in the HDMI from the laptop the switcher want's 1080i 59 etc. I can set my studio camera to that same resolution and all seems to work. My question to you is what resolutions do you like to run standard at your live events I'm shooting live events with roughly 1500 GB of storage on the rack plus a video assist for backup... In any case, my comment centers around consistent resolutions to the ATEM so it will show all the cameras etc. Again, keep the videos up really helping me get my gear together.
+Inspire Live thanks for getting in touch and for the question. I tend to run my whole system at 1080i50 which works great with my ATEM and cameras however the connecting laptops is always an issues. That's why I always bring and use a Decimator MD-HX, it solves all the issues and makes sure that the laptops connect every time!
Great to see you get the new TVSHD Pro, super jealous!
Perfect! at your request and I hope via your link I ordered the Decimator. I really need it to make sure pretty much any input that comes for the churches we work with. We do tours and now will live stream them. Thanks again for all your great videos.
This is really helpful. What would you use in addition to this to live stream this conference? And separate question if I didn't have time to edit afterwards what could I use to record the 3 feeds and put them together as one recording? Perhaps obs studio ?
+Makkster1972 I made a full video about the setup when live streaming a conference, check it out here... czcams.com/video/9D5Sez_uAzc/video.html
As for capturing all cameras, I personally use SD cards within each camera, but you might want to check out Wirecasts ISO ability. Should do the trick. Thank!
Here to Record. Thanks. I actually watched that one first but started getting lost in how much was involved, lol. I'll try again and check out the wirecast too. Thanks!
+Makkster1972 haha yeah - things can get pretty complicated pretty fast! Check out my MultiCam wirecast video if you haven't already!
Thanks for so usefull information.
One question ... using for example a Canon G40 as main camera
Could you get the wireless audio, from rode, connecting it to the mic connection
(because g40 dont have XLR conections)
Thanks :)
+Dani Perez Fotografia yeah you sure can do that however you won’t have any quick access to audio volume controls - that’s a nice to have on the XA range of cameras.
I have the saramonic smartrig+ .... could be the solution to add audio level control and xlr conections? Plugin to the mic input in a G40?
+Dani Perez Fotografia yeah I’m pretty sure that will do the trick!
How did you get the video to your 💻 laptop
The AverMedia Live Gamer Portable has a piece of software (RECentral) to make this work.
Can i use one AverMedia Live Gamer Portable for multiple camera or i have to buy one for each camera
I believe you can only connect one at a time to your computer.
