These are amazing action!
THE most memorable, exciting, and competitive Spectator Race in a long, long time! Was happy to see so many participants! Fantastic job by Casey, Tyler, and Justin. Very well done. See ya'll in Sep!
Awesome videos as always, had such a great time last night. By far my best night at New Smyrna Speedway so far 😎
Best spectator racing. No water down one lap stuff
Yeah we still do the 1 lap races, but it's kinda clever how this track uses the results from that to invert the field for the feature.
That little orange truck was beating them like they stole something
Thanks for coming out,
🍃
Great freaking race!
That was epic. From 13th to 1st? Wow
Casey actually started 15th and won from there. I started 17th and was up to 2nd briefly then cooked my brakes 😬
F##$ yes the coolest spec drag ever.
Man I expected a kid to jump outta that Mustang the way dude was driving!
This was a great race, looks like a ton of fun!
Casey did a fantastic job. The sandbagging was a disappointment, but I guess it's smart when you are low on power. Great Video, thanks for sharing.
How close are you to bringing that Dakota Shelby out there? Next one is in Sep, hope to see you out there!
@@biggravy732 We are going to check compression tomorrow because Ive been driving it and Im losing Coolant, but so far it isnt showing up in the Oil. New Water Pump and Radiator are on the way. September should be doable. Finished the suspension upgrades 2 weeks ago, has fresh paint and needs new decals installed, but that is a 1 day job.
Very good, can't wait to see you there.
What sandbagging would that be?
@@JustinOtterholt I watched the 1 on 1 vid and it seemed some of those races didnt live up to previous perfomances in the Spectator races. The Money was in the Main, so dropping early in the 1 on 1's for better positioning in the Main Event is what I am referring to. Great performance by the way, you guys out on some Nail Biter races!
I am so glad you didn't call this racing "drags" like some other unidentified vloger.
Heh, admittedly I do tag them as such since it's a popular way to refer to them... but yeah, these clearly ain't 'drags' :P
Spectator drags on Circle Tracks have been getting called as such since the 70s, it's not much younger of a concept than drag racing itself. People can deal with it or not watch it 🤷♂️
I understand the slow cars doing this, but trucks
What's wrong with racing a truck?
@@JustinOtterholt cause they are a truck with high a center of gravity. Would use a 2 seater convertible to haul a trailer?
@@bigneutron77 I once towed a gmc Yukon with a dodge neon no fucks given 🤣
But my truck does really well, but it does have a decent set of tires on it and being lowered helps.
@@JustinOtterholt lol
@@bigneutron77 trucks have big engines cars have small engines so it makes an interesting race.
