Love your videos...Cool little garage you have set up..Was the diff making any strange noises to make you change it?..I have a 2012 Pro4x and have put on new drivers side cv axle, the entire steering rack, front wheel bearing (4th one in 5 years) and it STILL makes a "thump thump thump going down the road...Gets louder as you go slower. Just changed the front diff fluid and saw no shavings. No clunking, no noises from driveshaft, transfer case, etc..All 4 wheel components work great. Got 295 tires on there and will have them rebalanced and rotated tomorrow. Cannot figure this one out. Thanks..

Thanks for watching and the comment! It wasn't being very noisy but my axle shaft was no longer sitting in place in the diff and was able to slide in and out. Pretty common from what I've gathered on. The pre 07 trucks

@@AGuyandHisProjects Thinking it might be the left stub shaft bearing in the diff. Gonna call mechanic in the morn and see what they think. Gonna get tires done first to rule that out and then I'm gonna zip tie my wife to the underside with a gopro so she can film it while I'm driving down the road!!!...lol..I can rebuild a D9 Cat and put a camera in my smartphone but I can't figure this one out !! No leaks, no metal shavings in fluids, all 4 wheel components work perfect while 4 wheeling but it sounds like I got one really outta round mudder tire on the front left....weird!!!!

Thanks for the vid! No issues with driving without any front CV axles? Worried about the wheel bearings failing.

Hey bud cool video! I have a 2wd Titan and i have too much money into it specially in the sound system and upgrades. I wish i could turn it into a 4wd 😢 pretty much all i need is the front diff with cv axle, transfer case and switch? Or is it more complicated? Titans are like toyotas from my point of view.. mechanical and simple

I've never done a crossover but you'd need new wheel/hub bearings as well. Plus driveshaft and any electrical in the cab. I think it'd be a lot of work but doable. Might look into a totaled 4wd truck and get all the parts in one swoop

I looked into the wiring diagrams and it has the 4x4 module that comunicates to the cluster. Is nothing simple 😪 but thanks man
