Empezaron utilizándolas los niños en EEUU para poner su nombre en la puerta de sus habitaciones, reivindicando ese espacio como propio. Más tarde se difundieron por casi todos los países desarrollados y poco después se popularizaron más todavía porque los graffiteros escribían su nombre sobre ellas y las pegaban en la calle. Hoy son todo un icono del graffiti y la gente sigue utilizándolas, se hacen nuevas interpretaciones, etc.
Esta famosa pegatina ha pasado a ser una pintura sobre la pared. La inscripción "my name is" cambió por "your name is..?". Le dimos la vuelta a la tortilla y el espacio quedó libre para todo el que quiso dejar su huella.
// Almost everyone knows the stickers of "Hello my name is". They started using them children in USA to put your name on the door of his room, claiming that space as their own. They later spread to all countries and soon became popular more because the graffiti writing his name on them and beat on the street. Today is an icon of graffiti and people keep using them, new interpretations are made, etc.
This famous sticker has become a painting on the wall. The inscription "my name is" changed "your name is ..?". We went around the tables and the space was free to anyone who wanted to leave their mark.
