Okay have to comment again😂 Thinking if the empty wooden bowls….How about some of your tiny books tied with twine. Do you have any rag balls? You know, how they use to wrap pieces of fabric they would make into rag rugs etc. or twine balls. Some of your antique photos/letters. Feathers. Some of your spools. Your little baskets? Your piano music rolls, any of your stuffed primitive animals, cats etc. I noticed you had a bowl of balls are they the wicker like? They’re in your bonus room. Fake or real plants/florals/greenery. Antlers. I’d say some marbles or buttons but ugh if you knocked the bowl over🤦🏻♀️😂 So many options with your goodies!!! Hey you put a new piece in the hall!! Gorgeous cabinet!

The numbered nails were used on railroad ties; they are very old; the one you showed with the "29" on it is the year they were installed (so it is 1929); I LOVE them too! I have some & they are definitely keepsakes!! Place a Bible in each one of your wood bowls going up the stairway.......that's an idea since you are looking for something to put in them. You are a GREAT decorator!! I LOVE your decorating ideas! Every inch of your home is BEAUTIFUL!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!

Everything looks great, your back deck is my favorite. I would love to shop your house, lol, so many goodies! Totally understand about being a collector. You could put rag balls, moss balls, shells, spools of thread, keys and locks and/or small books in your bowls on the stairs.
Susan, i love your home and how you have decorated everything! I do have a little anxiety with the crates of all of those awesome things being right above the wall of your master bed. when i was young teenager, i had a shelf above my bed with stuffed animals. There was a small earthquake that knocked the shelf off the wall onto the bed. Luckily it was during the day when I wasn’t in the bed. Since then, i have never put anything heavy above where i sleep, just in case. Unless those items are anchored into the studs and the items on them are secured with some kind of sticky putty. I definitely want you and everyone else to decorate how you love, just make sure it is securely and safely attached 😊 thank you for the great video❤

Well I stayed for the whole video and enjoyed every minute of it. What a collection, so beautiful and unique. I would love to have a back porch like that. Just so relaxing with the birds singing. Loved the old metal dust pans and the way you displayed them. Upstairs the corner desk area was my favorite. I thought it was such a great idea of using the crates to display a lot of items. Your home is beautiful and you are just so talented. I loved the squeaky floors. Reminded me of an old store. We love going to the original Mast General Store in Valle Crusis, NC. Their floors really squeak, especially upstairs where they many years ago use to display coffins for sale. Keep those videos coming. 😊

I would feel very comfortable and happy in your home. I love being surrounded by old items with a lot of history that have been lovingly curated. That's one of the reasons I love eating at Cracker Barrel. It is my very favorite restaurant. How interesting that it originated in Lebonan, TN. I read somewhere recently that Cracker Barrel had a yard sale for some of it's excess decor (maybe the one in TN?). I sure would have loved to have went to that! Your front porch is absolute heaven. I could sit out there for hours!!!! Thanks for the tour.

Susan. The numbered nail was used in the crossties that held the tracks down for the railroads and the number indicates the year it was used. My hubby was an engineer and we have a few. Great tour
I'm trying to catch up on all my videos..I LOVE EVERYTHING!!! I'd love to comment on every piece, but i know it'll be..i love it, i love it, i love it!😁 The laundry room.. the little sewing Susan pack in the overalls and the clothes pin bag.. my grandma had a clothes pin bag like that & i remember seeing the sewing Susan packs in My mama's sewing machine drawer!🥹The crate vignettes are such a cool idea! I couple stand in every room looking for hours girl! Its amazing how you have everything decorated & styled!😮 I'm really trying not to covet🫣lol I have the that same toy black singer sewing machine, someone found it & brought it to me, they knew i had the real one & loved it😊 Just so much Gorgeousness everywhere❤ I just love old wood pieces, big & small.. you have sooo many great pieces!! I would love to start collecting children's old shoes!! I have a pair of bronzed ones, but i just want the regular ones, the button up ones are precious🥰. I love my peg boards too, all sizes! I love old quilts too, but they so expensive! The master bedroom, green is my fav color, ughh this room is stunning! I look for cloches all the time, i don't have much luck🫤 I've found a few glass ones & a chicken wire one. I love the crates over the bed, so cool! I love layering mirrors & picture frames, and hanging frame inside frames, Reith & without a picture in it. Ooo Susan theres nothing you don't have, its so amazing! I know it took lots of time & years tho! Your bathroom is even awesome!! I didn't know you had lived in Dade City! Do your still own the house there? We're moving from SE Tennessee to Zephyrhills FL.. just 10min from Dade City, like we're neighbors! We were actually over there the other day! I need to know where the good thrift stores & antique stores are around here!! I know there's a big antique mall in Tampa! But what's close by? We're staying with my son & his family right now, but we'll soon be looking for somewhere to rent! I can wait.. I'll get to decorate a whole new space, and i know it'll be a little larger than our like apt in Tennessee!! I'm trying not to shop until i get moved, i don't want to crowd up any space in my sons home..ughh its a struggle not to shop😩 Little cabinets, drawers & shelves.. so much fun to decorate! The framed leaves are very cool. I found the numbered nails at least 30 years ago they were hammered into railroad ties I found to make a retaining wall. I moved from a large farm house to a small villa. 9 years later I am still trying to get used to the open concept. I am considering closing a door frame. Your home is beautiful.
Collect some more stone fruit add put a few ( maybe three) pieces in one of the bowls. Don't try to fill the bowls with things just add a few in each bowl, like maybe some antique spools or some small rolling pins. Your home is beautiful and you don't have too much, put your collection out where you can see them and enjoy them.
Susan your home looks so great. I love primitives and now you have much more primitive, much less vintage. Yes, you have alot of items but it doesn't look crowded, it looks comfortable. Alot to clean and dust, so is my house. Thanks for the tour

I love everything! I live in an apartment, but that doesn't stop me. I keep buying, and I told my kids that this stuff is worth money, and when I'm gone, don't put it to the curbside. Lol I try to keep collections to 3 or 5 of a thing. But sometimes it's more like 15 or 20. But you gave me an idea, over my door. 😊

I made sure each crate was screwed into one stud and used nails on the rest of the crate. Don’t forget to use a level before you nail, the other side in. Thanks so much for watching.😊

I would feel very comfortable and happy in your home. I love being surrounded by old items with a lot of history that have been lovingly curated. That's one of the reasons I love eating at Cracker Barrel. It is my very favorite restaurant. How interesting that it originated in Lebonan, TN. I read somewhere recently that Cracker Barrel had a yard sale for some of it's excess decor (maybe the one in TN?). I sure would have loved to have went to that! Your front porch is absolute heaven. I could sit out there for hours!!!! Thanks for the tour.

You need a beautiful quilted hammock with crocheted trim to finish off that beautiful back porch…how inviting and the birds in the background. Get some battery operated sconces. The rechargeable light bulbs are the best! Able to put light anywhere!
Susan. The numbered nail was used in the crossties that held the tracks down for the railroads and the number indicates the year it was used. My hubby was an engineer and we have a few. Great tour

I'd love to comment on every piece, but i know it'll be..i love it, i love it, i love it!😁 The laundry room.. the little sewing Susan pack in the overalls and the clothes pin bag.. my grandma had a clothes pin bag like that & i remember seeing the sewing Susan packs in My mama's sewing machine drawer!🥹The crate vignettes are such a cool idea! I couple stand in every room looking for hours girl! Its amazing how you have everything decorated & styled!😮 I'm really trying not to covet🫣lol I have the that same toy black singer sewing machine, someone found it & brought it to me, they knew i had the real one & loved it😊 Just so much Gorgeousness everywhere❤ I just love old wood pieces, big & small.. you have sooo many great pieces!! I would love to start collecting children's old shoes!! I have a pair of bronzed ones, but i just want the regular ones, the button up ones are precious🥰. I love my peg boards too, all sizes! I love old quilts too, but they so expensive! The master bedroom, green is my fav color, ughh this room is stunning! I look for cloches all the time, i don't have much luck🫤 I've found a few glass ones & a chicken wire one. I love the crates over the bed, so cool! I love layering mirrors & picture frames, and hanging frame inside frames, Reith & without a picture in it. Ooo Susan theres nothing you don't have, its so amazing! I know it took lots of time & years tho! Your bathroom is even awesome!! I didn't know you had lived in Dade City! Do your still own the house there? We're moving from SE Tennessee to Zephyrhills FL.. just 10min from Dade City, like we're neighbors! We were actually over there the other day! I need to know where the good thrift stores & antique stores are around here!! I know there's a big antique mall in Tampa! But what's close by? We're staying with my son & his family right now, but we'll soon be looking for somewhere to rent! I can wait.. I'll get to decorate a whole new space, and i know it'll be a little larger than our like apt in Tennessee!! I'm trying not to shop until i get moved, i don't want to crowd up any space in my sons home..ughh its a struggle not to shop😩 Little cabinets, drawers & shelves.. so much fun to decorate! Again..I LOVE IT ALL❤❤ Thanks for the tour, i see so many different things every time😊

Everything looks amazing, great job! I love your candle drying rack on top of your new cabinet in the living room. That’s one thing I’m looking for and never seem to find. Love the hanging one in your room above the garage too! I might just have to get creative and make one😂. My favorite room in your house and in mine are our children’s rooms with all the antique children’s things. I often wonder about the little ones using those items. Love everything ❤❤❤

Hi friend, love all the vignettes on your deck so many great items and ideas. Thank you for your inspiration. I love your idea with shelves above your doors. Oh I like the framed clock faces. The framed leaves are very cool. I found the numbered nails at least 30 years ago they were hammered into railroad ties I found to make a retaining wall. Collect some more stone fruit add put a few ( maybe three) pieces in one of the bowls. Don't try to fill the bowls with things just add a few in each bowl, like maybe some antique spools or some small rolling pins. Your home is beautiful and you don't have too much, put your collection out where you can see them and enjoy them.

I love everything! I live in an apartment, but that doesn't stop me. I keep buying, and I told my kids that this stuff is worth money, and when I'm gone, don't put it to the curbside. Lol I try to keep collections to 3 or 5 of a thing. But sometimes it's more like 15 or 20. But you gave me an idea, over my door. 😊

Susan, I love your home….just everything about it. You have some very unusual, unique pieces which I love. The nails are from the railroad and the numbers are the years. I have some myself that were gifted to me. I love them. Do you make the shelves over your doors? Also, how do you hang them so they remain stable? ❤

I made sure each crate was screwed into one stud and used nails on the rest of the crate. Don’t forget to use a level before you nail, the other side in. Thanks so much for watching.😊
