All of the deluxe edition stuff by CLAMP is amazing for this. Clover, Cardcaptor, Rayarth, Chobits etc. are beautiful. The 90s cyberpunk trio of Ghost in the shell, Akira, and Alita battle Angel are incredible. The Vinland saga hardbacks are cool as hell and the junji ito hardbacks are amazing too

Wish "House of the Sun" was lisenced. It has to be peak shoujo if there ever was one. The Japanese covers look absolute adorable.

So good. Some of these I'm not getting as I have then Blu rays of (e.g Fullmetal Alchemist B). But others I'm tempted by because they don't have a good anime adaption or blu rays (e.g Blade of the immortal).

I also think the “A Silent Voice” Collector’s editions are really beautiful- Kodansha did their printing right that once 😅
Yeah they are alright. The quality is nice but imo im not a fan of the print on the cover spines etc.

Am I the only one who doesn’t like the spines on the FMA hardcovers? The wraparound art completely ruins them for me.
Nahhhh they are great! Would be lame if back was something else or it was shrunk. Plus you would miss out on stuff.
