Exactly, my ex kept calling me, so much that I changed my number because his girlfriend/baby mama was coming for me! She sew a text that I sent him telling him to leave me alone. I even told him that I was married and would have my husband reach out to him if he didn’t leave me alone. His girlfriend was like, “So you lied to him so he would leave you alone? Let’s not play games, y’all clearly are communicating.” Her man was playing games. And obviously didn’t care about my well-being, because he knew that she didn’t want us communicating with each other, not that I was trying to communicate with him. For what!? To be honest, at this point, I don’t think that I’m completely safe. The phone records will show, in my favor that I never contacted him first. I did communicate with him during the time that they were on a “break” only after he contacted me first. However the phone records will show that I was encouraging him to hold on, and that they would be back together. As far as I’m concerned, ain’t no man worth fighting over. And if I ever get into an altercation with a woman over a man, I will be defending myself. How the saying goes; An ounce of prevention is, more than a pound of cure! Something like that. He would go for a while without reaching out to me(on my job), because that was the only way that he could reach me. After the last time, I unblocked him on Facebook and messenger, and blasted him publicly on his Facebook page. He hasn’t bothered me since. People be playing games and don’t care about who gets hurt in the process. Not me though. I don’t play those games. I go away. Back into my own little world. Yeah, I’m not trying to get beat up or killed over some insignificant/irrelevant man.

It's self-defense. Erica not only threatened the other girl but when she found out her location she went there and this was the ending result. She underestimated the other girl.

Yeah I agree but it's possible that it's another element to this why they charged her. Self defense is something that many people don't understand and that where they get jammed up most times. It seems to me that she knew the girl was outside waiting for her and if that's true, it's not going to be self defense because instead of going out there, she should've called the police or went a different way. When Erica (the girl that was shot) heard that the girl had left the bar she went outside to confront her before she had a chance to leave. That woman did everything she could to avoid anything happening. Erica pulled her gun and wasn't prepared for this lady to defend herself. And her friends were instigating it and egging it on. This woman did everything right and this is entirely, 100%, self defense.

I hear you, but this isn’t about going to the club. Sounds like two women arguing/fighting and going back and forth over social media about a man. Yes, the incident happened at a club, but under the circumstances the deadly altercation could have happened anywhere. If anything, when you have children all that foolishness - arguing & fighting - needs to be cut out. And any man that will put you in a position to have any sort of misunderstanding with another woman is a man you should let go about his business.
Just because you don't choose to go out after having kids doesn't mean anything is wrong with it for those that do still love going out for a good time with friends. I no longer club either because it's just no longer my thing but I have friends that love going out dancing and good for them. There is nothing wrong with going out, it's getting caught up in drama that's the problem.

I had my kids in my prime and surrounded my life around them where my friends who did the same was out enjoying life as they should in their 20's although they were still great parents but I was more settled. I have not many regrets, but now that my children are grown and gone, I find myself trying to relive my 20s. I missed out on a lot, and although there were no regrets, I wished I had still done more things for me in my 20s and 30s.
