- In this video, I talk about the components found in the blood and their functions. We are going to talk about the Complete Blood Count (CBC) test that your doctor orders, red and white blood cells, platelets, and proteins like albumin, globulins, and fibrinogen.

That's a good topic. I will most likely go into that when I get into the structure of blood vessels. It might be a few weeks before I make it there though.

If your plasma is more red rather than yellow. What does that mean?
It could be an indication of damage to red blood cells (hemolysis). That releases hemoglobin causing the plasma to be more red. It's the kind of thing that should be evaluated by a healthcare professional.
