Hello, I'm Rie, a Japanese female guitarist. Currently, we are holding concerts mainly in Tokyo.
She has composed all the songs herself and has released 15 CD albums to date.

If it's any comfort, in my experience that abyss, extends to a much larger area. I started listening to Japanese music a little over a decade ago, and it was as if i started listening all over again.
Couldn't agree more. American music, in the mainstream anyway, is no more than soulless product that is Trying Too Hard and selling immorality, negativity, and irresponsibility to our youth. It has no substance and nothing worth getting excited over, since it's the same 4-5 people cranking out songs every day and selling them to the highest bidder and has been for years. As usual, in this realm, the Japanese are making us look bad. Especially in the realm of all girl bands--some fantastic talent in those bands! BAND-MAID, LOVEBITES, Trident, Gacharic Spin, and now Muses make for much better and more exciting listening for me too.
Wow. There's no question that Japanese all-female rock bands are taking the world by storm. So much talent.

More rock than in previous songs, which is totally OK for me. I love how each of them seems to come from a different band, it's part of their charm, and I also love how Kanade Sato always looks like a bored schoolgirl jamming with friends just to pass the time... at the same time she keeps slaying the drums 😂

A whole new ebass style for Juna.
Just got this cd and it's a must have. Compared to their first disc I'd say this is better which is hard to say. You can really hear the instruments so well and the mixing is great. Every song is great with no let down, I've already played mines several times over.

first video i ever saw with rie was 'end of the darkness' in 2010 with ibuki doing the vocals. still listen to it at least once a week. here we are 13 years later and rie is still kickin' butt. love THE MUSES. the keyboard player looks a lot like a young mioko yamaguchi. one of my favorite early japanese artists . if someone told you that rie tomimatsu was 37 years old would you believe them ? nope - she still looks 20. it just ain't fair i tell ya !!

These musicians are too skilled for their own good- they could be playing some very intense and difficult song, but they'd all be smiling like it's a walk in the park😅. Imagine GUNS N ROSES PLAYING "WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE" but everyone is smiling and having a blast..... It's just not the same😂
