I just love this. All of you are such stars. I sometimes wonder if Sato-san is human--the whole time she is ripping it up on the drums, she looks like she's thinking about what to have for lunch. That's crazy!
I've finally found my favorite modern jazz fusion band, they're all so good at their instruments and their music slaps!
I don't always like a song that is a parade of solos. But here all five solos - every single of them - is absolutely fantastic. All the time backed by Kanade's rock solid funk grooving.
I'm so happy Muses keep offering these amazing live performance videos. We are all very lucky to be able to watch them any time we please.
There is in mho NO COMPETITION AT THIS LEVEL IN AMERICA....THEY ARE AMAZING!!!!!
Not a day whithout this video!!! I love all the five girls, they are exellent musicians. And Kanade and Juna - they are one of the best, probably THE best,
rythmsections I´ve heard. And , belive me, being 78 in a month, I´ve heard some. And in this video they are, as the other three, att their absolutly best.

I wonderd if Harumo's tenor badassness would come out on soprano sax, and oh yes it did 🙂 Enjoyed every one of these 19 minutes.
The whole world really needs to know more about them. They're all shining gems, especially Kanade. Her drum solo here seems more soulful. I think she has reached a high maturity in the sense of music.
If they tour outside Japan they will ! For sure !

Packed with solo performances Rie and Juna did very well also nice see Harumo but miss her playing tenor sax (not bad but not the same)!
Marie and Kanade never disappoint.
Each of these women is a phenomenal soloist! Each dives into the zone and plays her heart out, doing really interesting, creative solos. On a 10-scale, each gets a 12 -- I can't pick a favorite, they are all that good. And when they play ensemble, the joy really comes out. You can see it in their smiles, feel it in their playing. They are really tight, with flawless transitions, absolutely living the music. And they are playing live before an audience, not in a studio! Pure joy! I am in awe of the Muses!
Probably can’t speak a lick of English but can play the hell out of the drums- super cute too!
I’m American and I think American music magazines are racist because they never give these Asian drummers and other Asian musicians credit, but they are far superior than most American recording artist!
it's not necessarily a racist reason, unless they ban American non-white/female musicians too. But for many reasons magazines are not truely international.
But itś true that the best musicians aren´t always getting the attention they deserve. Luckily with a platform like CZcams we can get way closer to the musicians we love, then we could back in the 1990's.
This way I learned to know "The Warning" from Mexico back in 2015.
Rie's solo sent me to outer space. I met Jimi there, he was listening with good interest !

2023年10月にリリースされたNEW ALBUM「Goddess of Victory」の7曲目に入ってる素晴らしい曲「Jet Stream」のLIVEバージョン！Musesの並外れた圧巻の演奏が聴けます！ギターのRieさん、ベースのジュナさん、キーボードの麻梨恵さん、ドラムの奏さん、それぞれのプレーがキラキラと輝いていて、聴いてて気持ちいい！今回はスペシャルゲストのサックスの晴萌さんが加わってより厚みのあるサウンドになってて非常にいいですね🎵奏さんのドラムソロはどんどん進化しててとにかくすごい！☺
