- Hey folks! This video is a part of my Punchi Man vlogs. In case you are wondering why does my logo say "Pun-Chi Man", then that's what I'm calling my vlogs moving forward. Pun-Chi stands for Punjabi Chinese (In case you don't know it already, I'm Punjabi Chinese :) ). Vu GloLED 4K TV vs Blaupunkt QLED TV. I just wanted to make a video on Vu GloLED Ultra HD 4K LED Smart Google TV with DJ Subwoofer 104W India vs the brand new Blaupunkt QLED TV's. The Vu GloLED comes with 400 nits brightness 104W 4.1 Channel Sound. This also comes with VRR and ALLM starting at Only 35,999 and matches the Toshiba M550LP in almost every feature except for the Full Array Local Dimming. Thanks so much brother :) . Yes, her review is pretty good on it but please note it misses out on MEMC settings, ALLM and VRR so to me personally as an avid gamer, these are extremely important points in a TV.
Which one will be better for gaming and watching movies keeping in mind that would a 100+ nits extra boost blaupunkt tv or will vu glo led be sufficient for the needs?
Thanks for asking brother. The TV has a peak brightness of 400 nits which I believe is OK specially if you are consuming the content in a dark room. Of course the 100+ nits would make a difference but the downside in Blaupunkt, Kodak and Thomson TV's is poor reflection handling so even with the brightness, the panels are extremely reflective taking away from that immersive experience. Vu handles reflections better so even though the brightness is lower, I personally believe, it should be sufficient and for an overall better picture quality, Vu will be my pick personally.
Hey so I never had a tv thinking of getting Hisense U7H, any other recommendations for 55 inch you have ? Also I don't think I'll do much gaming and I'm confused btw apple tv or fire stick.
Apple TV all the way brother. It is a far superior device. As far as TV's go, many to choose from... Acer also recently launched their H Series, you may want to take a look: amzn.to/3ShwwMN

Confused between vu glo 50inch and hisense u7h 55inch. The room where the tv is going to be installed is brighter and sun reflection is going to be there. Both TVs have the same 400 nits brightness. Tv is going to be used only to watch d contents in OTT apps. Which one do you recommend or any other options?
Get the U6 instead brother, for your requirement. Its brighter and will be better to handle reflections and also for HDR content on OTT apps.

I'm not familiar with the Toshiba U5050 personally brother. Plus Picture preference is very subjective. What I like may not be liked by others. So its tough to comment on this.
Actually, in the VU Gloled presentation they mentioned that the tv supports upto 100hz for gaming. However I am very skeptical regarding this. Would that be supported by PS5?
No, its just simulated which is not actual 100hz meaning they are referring to MEMC. Its a 4k@60hz panel. Cannot beat physics brother :)
Hi Babit, as VU gloled is not a qled TV even coz it's just 4k TV, so is it wise to compare it with Hisense U7H or Any QLeD even??
I was comparing based on the price point brother. Besides I think a LED well done can take on a QLED which is mediocre cause at the end of the day a QLED is nothing but a LED with an extra Quantum Dot layer. That's it.

I've made up my mind to go for vu gloled but then it's my hard earned money thinking a lot to go for it. Considering the price point many are there acer h series , blaupunkt and moto qled . Over-all feel good tv interms of audio video gaming and most importantly slutter free long lasting, which is better ?
If it’s 50 inch then you can also go with the Hisense Tornado 2.0 if it’s 55 or 65 inch it depends on your requirement since Vu has the better contrast, deeper blacks and HDR performance due to it being a VA panel but Hisense Tornado has the better viewing angles and better sound overall.

Very useful & informative video as usual 👍bought vu gloled 55" tv and it's my first smart TV so i have some doubts regarding MEMC settings and gamma calibration so i asked you in your the detailed review of VU gloled tv and i really appreciate your quick response and helping me out in every possible way 🙏🙏 big thank you brother 🙏🙌🙌 but still I m facing some issues while connecting it to my boat soundbar through HDMI EARC port sometimes the sound gets switch off automatically for like 5-10 sec then it gets back automatically, so my doubt is whether it is due to my 2.0 cable not compatible with eARC port? Pls correct me if this is wrong assumption cause i haven't used arc or eARC ports before. In my previous VU tv i use to connect my soundbar through Aux cable so should I connect it with 2.1 HDMI cable or this 2.0 cable is good and this issue may go out after some system updates? Pls help 🙏🙏
My pleasure brother. I would say you can try using another cable and HDMI 2.1 will definitely be advisable. Sometimes its also the sound bar whose performance varies form TV to TV, hope its not the latter case and it gets solved with just the cable. Also, kindly make sure, the sound output is selected as ARC from the sound settings.

Which one would you suggest Vu gloled 50' or hisense a6h 50'. Most of the viewing is ott apps mainly sony voot and hotstar and sometimes netfilx and prime.
Both are equally good and almost at par when it comes to features and picture quality. Vu has the benefit of sound and it’s also more closer to being like Toshiba M550LP but it’s warranty period is 1 year but this can always be extended. So considering all things I will choose the VU Gloled.

I will get to review this unit soon brother. Will be able to comment on it in a better way then. Demo's are always tricky. It is make the advertised TV look good, in this case the VU Gloled. But from what i have seen and heard, the picture quslity is actually quite respectable.

You can get the Hisense, Toshiba or even the Acer or Vu in the budget brands. You cannot go wrong with any of these. They are more or less the same in terms of quality. Hisense and Toshiba and even Acer has the benefit of the 3 years warranty and Vu misses out on that.

A6h 50 inch is VA & 55 inch is IPS
That is correct about the A6H, I personally like VA panels and I have always said this in my videos as well. From value for money and peace of mind Hisense and Toshiba make more sense cause they also come with 3 years brand warranty. Vu would have been great if it had that extra warranty but you can always extend your warranty, but that will only add to the cost. The way I look at it is....you are ALMOST getting the Toshiba M550LP in a fraction of a cost with the Vu Gloled. If you can ignore the warranty bit, its still a great value for money TV and would be my pick.

@@karthikmalode LG UQ8020 misses out on Dolby Vision and that is the only miss in my personal opinion. Its got a great IPS panel and great picture quality. If viewing angles are your thing, go with the LG. If you need better blacks and better contrast, go with the Acer H series that i linked above brother.

Hisense U6G is the better TV to buy in this case brother. Its bright, its a FALD panel and has good HDR performance for OTT content.

Thank you for your kind words brother. I will suggest you take a look at the Hisense U7H instead as its a QLED with a FALD panel and has got much better color reproduction that the models you have shortlisted. Alternatively you also have the upcoming Hisense U7K which is a Mini LED TV which is super bright and is worth taking a look into brother.

What about after sales services of this newly launched tv live Thompson,Vu, Kodak and nokia all this tv gives 1yr warranty and toshiba give 3yr warranty
The service will be from Jeeves which is owned by Flipkart in the first year. And its very likely that they have 3rd party technicians from Jeeves even in year 2 and onwards specially if you purchase from Flipkart.

Get the Hisense A6H if you already have a sound system as it has 3 years warranty, else get the Vu Gloled and extend your warranty before it runs out.

Hisense U7H is the better TV specially if you are into serious gaming but if you do not game a lot, you can definitely get thew Vu Gloled TV over the A6H.

You can take it brother. Its a good TV but if your room is very bright then you may want to look at extremely bright panels like the U7K.

All of them are great. Hisense A6H and Acer have the 3 year warranty benefit so you save extra money there. Acer H series even has better sound than the A6H so there is further saving and it looks like a solid offering. The picture quality is more or less the same in these TV's, they have equal amount of brightness and good motion smoothing. Upscaling in Hisense and Acer TV's have been better than past Vu models so going by historical performance in terms of upscaling they should be better. If you are into gaming, get the Hisense A6H or Vu Gloled and extend your warranty. Else, get the Acer H series brother as it is a good all round TV. amzn.to/3SlOOw2

True Dolby Atmos requires very expensive setups and most of the sound bars that we have are all Virtual Dolby Atmos since they only simulate a 3D sound. Dolby Audio on the other hand can also be achieved through sound systems which are far cheaper and can give you true 5.1 surround sound with compatible or supported sound systems.
Simply put, Dolby Audio is only Horizontal or 2D and Atmos is Horizontal + Vertical sound or 3D.

Blaupunkt is a little better than Thomson and Kodak in terms of the looks and build quality and also the sound but apart from that the picture quality and color reproduction is pretty much the same across brother. So Yes you can but I will recommend buying an Acer H series instead or the Vu Gloled.

Hisense U6G is a FALD panel brother and is a comparatively superior TV. My suggestion is to wait for the Hisense U7H which is coming out in the sale in a week, that is the TV to buy.

can you control backlight in any of these TVs to reduce blooming , please confirm
1. There is no blooming since blooming only happens in FALD panels and these are not FALD panels.
2. You can control backlight and reduce it from the backlight settings brother.

Hey Babit! I have bought VU Gloled. I have tried all options but could not connect Bluetooth Headphones. I have a Samsung which connects easily with Bluetooth Headphones. On Vu TV, in the audio output section, the options are just not moving up/down, the control(cursor) is not coming down so that one can select Bluetooth headphones as an audio output selection. I am surprised ! Also the Chrome Cast function from my Samsung mobile works for just 1-2 minutes and exit automatically without giving any message. I think it's an inherent issue with all the cheapo TVs out there. What say?
Sorry to hear that brother. But I do not have any issues with a Bluetooth TWS Earphones. I have connected a Realme TWS and binged watched without any issues of it dropping off or anything. YOu need to go to Bluetooth settings to add them. I have also tried the chromecast through Prime Video on iPhone and it worked absolutely fine without dropping out. You may need to reset the TV and see if the issue still persists brother.

A QLED is nothing but a LED with an extra filter you can say brother. So, I'd still get the Vu Gloled since its brighter, handles MEMC better and is overall the better TV.

Picture quality wise the U6G will be better as its a FALD panel and is also much brighter for HDR content. But it lacks Android 11 and the sound is mediocre. The Blaupunkt does a little bit of everything but the U6G is the better TV in terms of picture quality.

Lg misses out on Dolby Vision brother so if it’s come thing that bothers you, go with the Vu Gloled. Or I will suggest that you go with the Hisense U7H brother.

Its a decent option and better than the Blaupunkt, Thomson or Kodak QLEDs, the only issue is that the brightness is not a lot. So it may not perform so well in HDR content and brightly lit rooms.

Everytime I watch a technical review, my buying decision gets changed. I have not found any expert on youtube till date who speaks from a 'day to day users' point of view. They don't understand that their critical analysis on spec-sheets and all those technical jargons are actually meaningless to most of the end-users. Yes, it's true the technology is ever changing but not all those minute features being added are realy make any big differences in day to day television viewing. There might be a lot of compulsions of affiliated marketing, however, we need some experts or reviewers who will be able to enlighten us with what we really need. Someone told me very correctly that, "set your budget, list your requirement and go hopping one or two showrooms and then see it, feel it and just get it, but don't waste your time on youtube experts' comments, else it will be a never ending story!" Get the Hisense U6G brother, it s bright panel to combat reflections. Comes with Android TV OS. It also is a FALD panel for better contrast and deep blacks. A 65 inch will be good for the viewing distance you have brother. Although, you may need a sound bar to go along with this TV.

@@tarundalal5369 when you go to reliance digital I will suggest you carry a pen drive with some of your own content brother. And play it side by side with some TVs you like. The TCL T6G or the C645 is also a good option in that price range.

VU comes with their own processor, how we can trust it?
Its not their own processor per say, they may have done some customization to a standard Cortex Quad Core processor brother but its not their own custom made silicon. They just named it Glo AI processor just like any other manufacturer calls their processors by a name.

Its a great question brother. FALD panels would have the benefit of better picture quality overall but I believe a DLED VA panel may still have better contrast and blacks that can be achieved by tweaking the color settings. Of course I am no expert at this and am not a technical person, so at this stage I am only assuming this brother.

VA panels will always have better blacks and contrast than an IPS panel. I am not sure of the panel type on the Vu but it could be VA cause of the pricing. Blaupunkt uses an IPS panel and I would anyways not take Blaupunkt Thomson or Kodak due to the poor reflection handling and the poor implementation of MEMC. And 400 nits of brightness is adequate, its not great but just about enough to enjoy HDR content in a dark room. That circles me back to Vu Gloled and that will be my choice.

@@monjit3103 Personally if you ask me, I can achieve QLED color reproduction even on a normal LED by tweaking the color through settings. It should still be able to give you a good picture quality brother.

I'm little sceptical because they said they have applied some chemical solution to the panel which ideally makes it a normal Dled TV.
If they don't match with qled panel I'm not gonna buy this.

@@monjit3103 I have said it in the video as well brother, its just a marketing gimmick. QLED panels can come with both IPS and VA. Its the VA panels which make a difference in the contrast and the blacks. If its VA, you can expect it to have those deep blacks, if its an IPS panel it wont be able to match the VA but optimization can help a bit. In their presentation they also mentioned something about using nano particles, which work very similar to QLED's technology not OLED. I wonder why they are calling it closer to OLED's. 🙄

If you game, then Hisense U7H, if you do not game, go with the Hisense U6G if you really need great contrast and picture quality.
